Ren snorts, "it did seem as if you had it handled, however i could not know that before i left the room, and once i was there i might as well do something." he sighs, " many worlds are in a bad way, people and morals are corrupted. it does not excuse their actions, but teh way things are... it does not surprise me."

Orion hugs himself as he stays under the covers, sniffling and hiccups, "i... i miss.... i wa-wanna go..." he grinds his teeth and his gem starts glowing

Ren looks over and sighs, " ...i'll see you back if that's what you wish. i give my word on it, okay?"

Orion calms down a bit and he sniffles. He slowly comes out from under the covers and he crawls over to renshajoh's tank, leaning against it, "i'm sorry for getting worked up and yelling at you...you....ironically are the only one who isnt an animal around here."

The basilisk chuckles softly, " hey now, that's an insult to all the nice animals out there. and apology accepted, didn;t really bother me."

Orion shrugs, "out of this dumpster yes. But i havent seen any on this ship. So as far as i'm concerned what i said still counts."

He snorts, " pretty sure i've seen a few rats about, they behave themselves as far as im aware."

Orion presses his face against the glass, "lucky... rats would be a lot better company than those assholes out there..."

Ren looks over, " well, don;t mine fishbait me here, totally not company at all." he blinks as he notices the others chest, " uh, i may be wrong, but i think you're glowing there."

Orion blinks and looks down, "ah... yeah.... i'm... totally drained mentally right now so i dont have the energy to hide it... you wont tell anyone right? I figured if i could trust anyone it'd be you..."

Renshajoh nods and closes his eyes, " it's no business of mine. and i sure as hell don;t go gossiping with those shit-for-brains out there."

Orion gives a soft smile, "thats what i figured...it takes a lot of energy to suppress it so im kinda glad i dont have to do that in here."

Renshajoh opens an eye to look at the other, but decides to not say what he wanted to about it. " yeah, you can let it loose in here anytime. just cover it up at night, it's been a long time since i've needed a nightlight."

Orion chuckles, "it does become handy when i need to use the restroom at night..." he smiles softly and begins to doze lightly against the glass, "i think...master didnt want me to glow around others because it would make me a bigger target than just what my looks get me..."

Renshajoh nods, " probably that's part of it. you already look unique, that only makes it more...exotic i think is the word?"
