Ren nods, " i think that would be a splendid idea. it'll be a great way to learn about your culture."

Orion nods, "yeah. i think learning more about my people might help me figure out what i should be doing."

Ren raises an eyebrow, " you should do what feels right for you to do. What you enjoy. "

Orion shrugs, "well... not... i mean... not in that way. Ever since i came out here I've been feeling weird. Like, something is wrong. And it's been more of an itch that i cant scratch ever since i got the ship to jump. I just thought... if there is anyone out here that would know why, it might be missy. It also might not be but i should take this chance while i can."

Ren tilts his head, " like...how to use that gem...thing? or what? im not sure i understand."

Orion pouts softly, trying to find the right words, "i... wouldnt say... use the gem but like... if there were anything that galakins were capable of that she or her mother witnessed. What.... what CAN i do? Like... the sites a visit dont really explain much. It just says that there are rumors and beliefs and superstitions and thats not good enough for me... i want to know my history from someone who had been there and not something down the grapevine..."

Ren nods, " i suppose that makes sense. im not sure how much you'll be able to do without someone to teach you even if you know it's possible, but who knows."

Orion nods, "I want to know as much as possible from any reputable source  that i can get my hands on."

" fair. well she's the most reputable source i've found so far. her father might also be one you can learn from." he gets up and stretches, " and if i can take some work off their hands they'll have time to chat with you."

Orion blinks and shrugs, "I didnt hear anything about him being on the planet. Just her and her mother."

Ren blinks, " ah, well i guess i wasn;t paying as close of attention as i ought to have been. well she's a good source anyway."

orion smirks, "To be fair you wanted that lake more than anything else."

The basilisk laughs softly, " i won;t deny that i very much enjoy it, and the fishy residents that inhabit it. they are quiet tastey, and nothing beats fresh caught fish, still alive and warm."

orion makes a face and sticks out his tongue, "gross...."

Ren chuckles, " guess it's a predator thing. but i'd take a live fish over anything else any day any time."
