Ren chuckles, " glad you're enjoying yourself." he heads over to a few people, " excuse me, do you know any ships heading in the direction of the planet Lygen that may be willing to exchange passage for labor?"

The group glance at ren and orion before one clears his throat, "ah, nah sorry mate. No one really likes going into that sector. Too many ships getting randomly seized for inspection by brutes working for the government lately. You'll  be wanting to keep an eye out for morality ships. They're the only safe ones it seems and unfortunately there are none here today."

Orion watches the conversation curiously

Ren nods, " i will keep that in mind. though if there are any headed in that general direction even if not the entire way that would also be helpful."

[MissyLooni]

The man shakes his head, "not in that direction. Not fer a while. asteroid storm supposed to be happening soon so you would have to be a gosh darn fool to head out until hearing the okay."

[Namari]

He sighs, " very well. i appreciate the information." He heads away from the group, " looks like we'll be here awhile, so i suppose finding work is our next goal."

Orion hums,  "what could I do for work? "

[Namari]

Ren thinks as he walks, " i... am not certain entirely. it will have to be easy labor, since your stamina and strength lack. perhaps house cleaning, or watching children. we could also attempt to get you temporary work taking stock of items, counting how many they have or such. we will see. i know i will be able to earn the most where i can do heavy lifting or help with fishing, as those are some of my specialties. i've always found people willing to pay my kind more than the normal wages since i can safely do tasks most species cannot when it comes to water."

Orion hums, "i am fairly decent at getting into small areas. Although i must admit i am very good at counting. I would often find myself counting how many guards were around my.. home and being able to recognize which guard was which just on how they carried themselves."

[Namari]

Ren nods, " perhaps if we head to the docks we can find jobs together, sometimes they boats need someone to keep track of the catch and such, and i can do what im best at." he grabs a map of the nearby area, " looks like there's a large body of water not too far, we'll be here for awhile so we'll head out there tomorrow and find lodging closer to it for while we're working. i'll leave my information here in case there's a charter that comes along, they usually check to see if such data is left. after all they can get cheap labor or a paying customer that way."

Orion nods and idly taps on the top of rens head, "sounds like a plan to me."

The Basilisk feels the tapping and snorts, amused. He heads back to the port and leaves his information and what he's looking for with one of the attendants before heading back to their sleeping location.

Orion looks at everything as ren walks, finding the area much more lively than the moon they were at before, "there's so much people here..."

Ren nods, " yes, there are many people here. though this is still out on the far reaches, some planets are far busier even than this. i have to say this is about what i can tolerate as far as crowding goes though, im not fond of busier places."

Orion nods, "agreed. Another advantage to being on your shoulders."

Ren snorts, " glad you're enjoying yourself." he shakes his head and strides into the building, heading to their bed, " not to mention i have to be careful with lots of people, my claws are sharp. me stepping on someone's foot doesn't usually end very well." He kneels to let the other off, the hooked claws on his feet twitching at the though of impaling someones foot on accident.
