Orion blinks and gets close to ren, looking at the indents, "oh.  Huh. I see."

Ren lets him look, a little confused that he was willing to get so close but it didn;t really bother him. " yes, they sense body heat. so even if you were totally hidden from sight, i could still sense where you are."

Orion blushes a bit before backing up, "well, that is incredibly useful." He rubs the back of his head humming softly, "wish i could do that."

Ren chuckles, " there are downfalls to this body, and i would not be so strong had i not had to grow up in such a hostile environment. be glad you are not one of my race. we will work on your memorization skills, i think that will serve you well with what you already know for defense."

Orion nods, "alright. That seems like an adequate idea. How do we do that?"

[Namari]

Ren smirks, " practice." he grabs some paper and covers Orions eyes, moving him to a corner where he can see most of the room easily. He uncovers his eyes, giving him a few moments to observe the room before turning him towards the wall and handing him the paper, " replicate the room."

Orion blinks and looks at the paper, frowning, "what? You want me to.... draw the room?"

[Namari]

Ren chuckles, " in simple terms, yes. you do not need to draw it well, simply dictate where everything is. furniture, the doors, lights, anything of note."

Orion blinks before giving a nervous chuckle, "Can I take another look at the room?"

[Namari]

Ren shakes his head, " no. in a life or death situation, you will likely not get another chance. you have been in this room for a good chunk of time, you must have an idea of where things are."

Orion bites his lip, "i know... where the tub is. I've spent most of my time... erm in the tub."

Ren sighs, " well try anyway? come on."

Orion turns slightly red, embarrassed that he knows he's going to mess up, "um...the... the bed... is here." He rattles off locations of objects are in the room, being mostly wrong

Ren looks it over, not even looking around the room as he gently takes the pencil and corrects Orion's sheet. " you will get better with practice. shall we try another room?"

Orion turns a deep blue and his ears lower at the idea of getting it wrong, "i uh. I think i might be done with this practice. "
