Ina soon gets close enough to the planet before having the ship slow down and stay put to make sure they dont get too close as she waits for sally.

Sally goes up to Ina and the others, " he'll be going with. so, we need to get him equipped in case this all goes sideways."

ina looks at sally and nods, smiling, "Thank you." she goes over to a shelf and pulls some items from it before going to ren, "we obviously cant be with you two when you descend, and there is a strong chance that after we land and drop you two off that we will be ordered to leave the planet for security reasons. that being said, you will be equipped with a communicator and a teleportation pad. just let us know when and if you need to be brought back to the ship. The pad's are small and have a bit of sticky residue n the back so they can safely stick to you. since they are small i could also give you this extra pad to give to orion... just in case. unfortunately the pads can only bring one person back so it would be best that the kid have his own. i'd... rather not tell you what happens if two people try to come back using only one pad. its not... pleasant."

Ren nods and takes it, " i do not think Orion is going to have things go the way he desires, i would like an extra pad for him just in case. can you show me how the communicator works?"

Ina nods, giving him the extra pad before showing him the communicator, "it's actually a pretty primitive model then what we are given to use. I don't trust the high end communicators that the government gives us to use since they have security patches that only they can access, plus no one wants these things in their ear canals. So the ones I personally bought are too old to carry the function of being able to transmit to any ship and instead I just hardwire our ships communication line in so our ship is the only one that can communicate with these. I don't like the idea of anyone being able to listen in on a sensitive conversation without us knowing..." she straps the communicator around rens wrist, thankful that the leather belt was just barely long enough to fit and that the basilisk wouldn't have to shape shift his wrist to be smaller.

Ren looks at it closely, tilting his head, " very well." he tucks the pads into his pocket. " i will leave it unconnected for now, im not certain it will stay on if i shift my scales."

[MissyLooni]

Ina nods, "I trust the devices to you. As well as the galakin. Thank you for watching out for him."

[Namari]

Ren's tail slowly lashes, " it is the least i can do, it is partly my fault he is in this situation to begin with, and beyond that my instincts are telling me he is in danger."

[MissyLooni]

Ina nods, "it's certainly... a tricky situation. And not just with him but every galakin that are within the confines of the governing planet in each sector. They have a right to freedom however we can not just charge in and rescue them. Not only does it paint our ship and my crew as targets but this world is far too dangerous for these galakins to explore and learn safely since they have no real world skills. They'd get snatched up and manipulated faster than the speed of light."

[Namari]

Ren nods, " indeed... i will do all i can to keep him safe, but i will have the disadvantage. i'll go get ready." he heads back to his room to meet with Orion.

orion is looking out the window, his hands twisting the hem of his shirt as he focuses on keeping his breathing steady

Ren looks at him, " be ready, i know you trust this man but... just be ready."

[MissyLooni]

orion looks at ren and looks a little nervous before giving a nervous grin, "ah i... yeah i suppose... but um... i dont know if i do trust him. I think... if i did trust him i wouldnt be so nervous even with you coming."

Ren twitches his tail but doesn't reply right away, "... very well then. are you ready? the sooner we go, the sooner it is over."

orion nods, "yeah im about as ready as i'll ever be." he goes over to ren, looking determined
