Ren soon finds one with enough space in the abdomen and chest that he can get Orion in there with some shifting, and has places Tai can can grip onto his back.

Tai looks over and hums,  "found something okay? " she waddles over to ren and looks up at him

Ren nods, " i think this will suffice. perhaps you ought to try clinging to the back to see if i can move swiftly without you losing your grip." he crouches down.

[MissyLooni]

Tai blinks and blushes, "oh um, n-not a bad idea." She reaches up on her tippy toes and grabs onto the armor, "um. If needed I can excrete some fluid from my body that is very sticky. Obviously not now but it is something I can do. "

Ren leaps ahead, using all 4s to cover more ground, making a few sharpish turns to see if he would accidently dislodge her.

Tai shrieks, not expecting such sudden movements. On instincts her tail lifts up, acting as a balanced weight to keep her from falling off and her hands become quite sticky as the oils she just mentioned ooze out

Ren tries a few more swift moves to make sure she's not going to fall off before stopping, satisfied, " that is good, i will be able to move swiftly and not need to worry about you, just about getting where i need to go."

Tai shivers and nervously tries to pull away,  her hands stick a little too well to the armor, "u-um well th-thats good." Her voice quivered as she spoke

Ren frowns and crouches down to try and make it easier, " i would not intentionally toss you, but i would rather know if i need to be careful beforehand instead of something happening while we are on the move."

Tai manages to pull her hands off, leaving trails of ooze, "i-i know. I appreciate the future planning. Just caught me off guard is all." She steps back and rubs her hands, "at least I know my sticky fluid is still super sticky. Been a while since I used it."

Ren chuckles, " a very good thing to know. my apologies for startling you." he removes the armor and sets it aside.

Tai blushes a bit before humming slightly, "it's quite alright, it got the job done after all. I assume that will be the one you wish to use?"

Ren nods, " yes, that will work. there is space in the abdomen and chest, and i can alter my shape to fit around Orion and hold him securely. also you are able to hold on well." he sighs softly, " i suppose in the meantime while we wait to arrive, i should get these bullets removed. they are somewhat painful."

[MissyLooni]

"Good. I'm glad that's all settled for now. I'm sure Ina has already informed Taro and coco and-" she makes a small squeak sound as she faces ren, "wa-wait- bullets?! You were shot at?! Oh jeez why didn't you mention anything?! Do you want to go back to the infirmary??"

Ren nods, " probably a good idea. i was more worried about Orion, and i had sealed them over so i was not bleeding. the adrenaline was limiting the pain i felt, so they were not bothering me." he heads back to the infirmary, wincing a little now that his adrenaline isn't keeping the pain down.
