Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

[MissyLooni]

Aki huffs, "Yeah? Well what if YOU'RE the serial killer?! I aint given ya the chance!"

Lucario huffs and heads over to the sink, quickly washing his paws to make sure he doesnt make a mess in the home, trying to be polite as possible

[Namari]

Sato rolls his eyes, " oh no, you figured out my plan to lure you onto my farm and force you inside with a storm that somehow i created. whatever will i do." he sighs and goes over to the oven, putting some mitts on and pulling out a glass pan with food.

Meinshao wanders into the kitchen, curious about the ruckus.

[MissyLooni]

Aki huffs, "you'll never know. Adults can be insanely cruel. "

Lucario sees meinshao and gives a courteous bow before going over to sato and tilting his head, "gggrrr?"

[Namari]

Sato sighs, " well we're not like that around here. just a family ranch, we give aid to travelers that pass through." he looks at the Lucario and raises an eyebrow, " yes?"

Meinshao eyes the lucario and gives a haughty huff before going over to Aki, looking at the new comer while trying to look disinterested.

[MissyLooni]

Aki snarls, "sure you ju-" he looks at meinshao and his eyes damn near sparkle, his personality doing a complete 180, "oh my gosh! Your coat is soo beautiful! Hello meinshao!"

Lucario looks at the glass dish and sniffs at it curiously before looking back at sato, curious if the man needed help with anything

[Namari]

The meinshao pulls his head back, startled by the sudden change in attitude. He huffs and turns his nose up.

Sato blinks and smiles, " you hungry bud? there's plenty, here." he scoops some casserole into a bowl, handing it to lucario. He scoops another bowl and sets it in front of Aki.

[MissyLooni]

He chuckles and starts petting meinshao, "i knew a few meinshao that could never turn down a good pet."

Lucario blinks when he's given a bowl. It wasnt exactly what he was trying to get across but... he wont turn down a good meal. Especially since they hadnt eaten yet. He nods and sets it on the table before going back to sato for a utensil

[Namari]

Meinshao pulls away and narrows his eyes, fluffing up his fur in indignation. Sato notices and raises an eyebrow, " don;t mind him, he's got an attitude problem. give him a few more compliments and he'll get less snotty." he hands a fork to the lucario and sets another in front of Aki. he dishes up two more bowls and sets them on the table, going towards some stairs, " Maya! dinner!" soon footsteps are heard running down the stairs and a little girl holding tightly onto a skitty comes down the stairs, " okay-...who's that?" Sato chuckles, " he's a traveler who's taking shelter from the storm. now sit down and eat."  the girl nods and lets go of the skitty, who bounces over to a few bowls and starts munching the pokemon food there. Sato sits and starts eating his own portion.

Lucario sits at the table and begins to quietly eat.

Aki chuckles, "meinshao is such an awesome pokemon! You really cant-" he hears the girl and looks at her briefly before his eyes dart to the skitty. He wanted to hug the skitty so bad but he also noticed everyone sitting down to eat and it was hard to ignore the food with his stomach growling so much. He hesitantly picks up his fork and slowly starts eating.

[Namari]

Sato nods, " he's a strong pokemon, im proud to have him as a partner. however im not so blind that i can;t see his flaws, and he's more stuck up than most. i was not as experienced when i got him, i didn't realize how much effort i'd have to put into training him when he was a meinfoo. With rapidash, we've been together since she was born, our partnership has been built over much time. it was a learning experience, and we still make a good team even if he can be difficult at times. he's definitely not the worst out of my pokemon." he chuckles softly, taking a few bites of his meal.

Meinshao grabs his own bowl, picking daintily at his special food.

[MissyLooni]

Aki blinks as he listens to sato he picks at the his food a bit before closing his eyes, "yeah i hear ya. I've had lucario shortly after leaving my home back when he was a riolu. He's been my rock for a long time now. Dont know where id be without him."

Lucario chews his food quietly before swallowing, grumbling softly.

[Namari]

He nods, " thank goodness for pokemon huh? i don;t know what i'd do without mine."

Maya looks up, " i can;t wait to get my first ponyta! and then when im ten, i can go on my pokemon journey too!"

Sato chuckles softly, " indeed. our little Maya here just turned 6, so she's old enough to pair up with a ponyta. we're just waiting for this seasons batch of foals. kind of a family tradition."

[MissyLooni]

Aki looks at her and does his best to hide his nervousness,  "ah... ponyta's are pretty cute..."

[Namari]

Sato nods, " yeah, and they're important to my family. we use them to herd the animals we keep. we all have a very close bond with a ponyta, or like me we've gotten ours strong enough to evolve."

Maya looks around, " mom and dad and big sister are still gone?"

Sato nods, " yeah, im guessing they didn;t want to risk themselves and the pokemon in this storm, so they stayed in town. no big deal, i bet they'll be back first thing in the morning. ponyta and rapidash may be great for herding, but like most fire types they don't like rain. without the tauros to herd on the way back they'll travel fast."

[MissyLooni]

Aki looks at them and sighs, "you still didnt have to let me in. Wouldnt be the first time i got caught in the rain."

Lucario rolls his eyes and finishes the bowl of food. He hops down from his seat and grabs his bowl and fork before going over to the sink and setting them in the sink
