Sato shrugs, " no i didn;t have to. but helping others is the right thing to do, and if i have something i can easily give to help someone else, then why not? there's plenty of food here for everyone, and we have the space to put you up for the night. don't fuss over it too much, there's no strings attached."

[MissyLooni]

Aki sighs, "i still feel uneasy though."

Lucario goes over to aki and pats his head, "grah."

He shrugs, " you could stay out in the barn if you prefer. or i could let you have my room, it has a lock. or you can just trust your pokemon, they're usually a pretty good judge of character."

[MissyLooni]

Aki huffs, "i do trust my pokemon! I just... if anything happens to them i would never forgive myself."

Lucario chuffs and takes aki's hand and places it on his head.

Aki blinks and looks at lucario before sighing and starts petting the back of his head

Sato nods, " i hear ya. well, the offer of the barn or my room still stands."

[MissyLooni]

Lucario leans into aki's hand and huffs.

Aki looks at lucario for a minute before sighing, "no i...I'll be fine. As long as lucario has the backpack i should be fine..."

He raises an eyebrow and shrugs, deciding not to ask, " we'' get you settled in the guest room then." he gets up and gestures for the other to follow, heading upstairs. Meinshao finishes his food and follows after his trainer.

Lucario takes aki's hand and follows sato.

Aki chuckles as he follows, "alright, alright im coming."

[Namari]

Sato stops near a smallish room, plainly decorated, " here we are, all yours. bathroom is right down the hallway here." he walks down and points out the door, " and my room is just across from yours, wake me if you need anything."

Aki huffs, "wont happen but uh... thanks."

Lucario looks at sato and does a brief bow before heading back downstairs to grab aki's backpack

Sato shrugs, " just letting you know."

Maya bounces up the stairs, skitty running behind her, " g'night brother!"

He scoops her up and gives her a hug, " make sure you brush your teeth. sleep tight." he sets her back down and she runs into the bathroom.

Lucario comes back up the stairs and goes into the room

Akihiko rubs his arm and huffs before going following lucario to his room for the night.

Sato heads into his own room, Meinshao following and settling on his own pokemon bed. Ariados peeks her head out of the room to take a peek at Aki and Lucario.

Lucario glances at ariados before looking at aki. After deciding that aki is too distracted he goes over to ariados and gives her a friendly greeting.

She skitters back a bit when the other pokemon approaches before clicking her mandibles, hissing a hello and waving with one of her legs.
