Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

Satoshi blinks and chuckles, " well i know some more than that, and we can look up others at the pokemon center unless you have a computer here. we'll just mark down the numbers so we can understand it easier as we go." he gets up and looks in a few drawers until he finds writing utensils, grabbing a few pencils and highlighters. " alright. highlight anything that looks important. try to keep the pages in order. locations and people should get highlighted for sure." he hands a set to Aki and sits, popping open the highlighter and starting to work on his page.

Akihito takes the highlighter and frowns as he tries to decipher the notes,  "...i... don't know what most of these terms mean. Good to know i'll never be a scientist." He looks over more pages,  "Doctor Mandolin... that sounds important. "

Satoshi chuckles, " that's why we're highlighting things that seem important. we can look up certain things later and try to look deeper into the information afterwards, but there's so much the best idea is to narrow down the search."

[MissyLooni]

Aki nods, "i think i can still get us clearance into the building where my parents work if you want to talk to any names that pop up. So far all i'm seeing are doctors names, numerals, and... something about the experiments failing in here."

Satoshi raises an eyebrow, " hm, that might be important later, mark those pages. yeah we'll see about talking to them, anyone who knew them is more likely to know something than random people."

[MissyLooni]

Aki nods and highlights the page, "Subject.... uhhh... an L a V two C's an X an L a V and... three I's... ooft. That's probably a big number. Anyway, it looks like this one lasted a few days before dying..."

Satoshi leans over to look, quickly copying the numeral, " we'll look it up later. it died? what were they doing? were they experimenting on people? or pokemon?"

[MissyLooni]

Aki shudders, "I... i dont want to think that my parents were using.... people and pokemon... but thats really are only two options... umm no it doesnt say if it was or not... just says... that they cant tell if their experiments are a success until after they come out of the... tubes..."

Satoshi blinks and frowns, " this sounds like some heavy shit...that alone would be a dangerous profession."

Aki gets up and goes to the living room and sits down, needing a mental break after reading that

Satoshi sighs softly, rubbing his temples before delving into the next page, highlighting a few key words.

aki's eyes water and he wipes his eyes, huffing. he looks around the room, looking at all of the photos in the room. all of them were some variation of him with either one or both parents, sometimes with eevee. he sighs and goes back to the kitchen, "do you... think my parents are bad people?"

Satoshi blinks and looks up, " huh? no? i don;t know enough about them to really judge. im not entirely sure what they were doing, but im sure they thought it was for good reasons."

Aki nods, "okay. good... i just... i feel uneasy about the fact that they were... technically making something and then that something dies... that doesnt feel good."

Satoshi nods, " not to mention they tried to make that thing over and over.... who knows how many survived awhile before dying? it's not a pleasant thought, but we don;t know why so i guess maybe there's a good reason."
