Aki nods and goes back to the packet, reading it over, "Dmitri and I were approached by our colleagues with concerns to our research. Dmitri has advised purchasing a home in a town over to hold our research. I am glad that he was chosen to be my research partner." Aki sighs and frowns, "Yeah... we're... going to have to go to their job..."

[Namari]

Sato winces, " yeah that doesn;t sound as good. i think you're right, a visit is definitely in order. lets wait until tomorrow though, we've had a long enough day."

[MissyLooni]

Aki shudders, "but... may- maybe they just ran out of funding.... and decided to do it somewhere else to save their work some cash... i... i hope the house they mentioned isnt this one." Aki looked away, knowing damn well that this house was more than likely the home mentioned in the report

Satoshi smiles, knowing the other was gripping at straws, " you're right, maybe that's what happened. it could be a different house, who knows."

[MissyLooni]

Aki gives a hesitant nod and bites his lip as he keeps reading and highlighting. The reports quickly giving aki a slight headache from the complicated jargon

Satoshi shakes his head as he starts to get a headache himself, getting up and walking around, " maybe i should go grab us some snacks and drinks. want to come with? i could use a break."

[MissyLooni]

Aki quickly nods and gets up, "yeah i- even without all of the times I've seen the words 'experiment failed' it's too heavy. I might... skip all of this early stuff. Start from the end and work my way backwards maybe. "

Satoshi nods, " assuming we can find the end. i only took one chunk of papers. this seems to be more in the middle judging from the high number of failures you ran across. but yeah we can take a look, put this stuff in a pile and try to find stuff that's from later dates." he heads out of the house and to the nearest store, grabbing a basket and starting to grab some snacks and drinks to keep them going, taking his time.

Aki follows satoshi, keeping his eyes on the ground. He felt like he could take a long nap and never wake up.

Satoshi glances back at him, " anything in specific you want? i know what i like, but i don't know what kind of stuff you like."

[MissyLooni]

Aki blinks and looks at Satoshi, "I tend to like sweet things. Or salty. sometimes i can find snacks that have both. otherwise im not too picky honestly."

[Namari]

Satoshi nods, " well i've got a variety of both here, so hopefully that will suffice. i've got mostly sports drinks and flavored waters, if you want a different drink grab it."

[MissyLooni]

Aki shakes his head, "thats fine. Im honestly not picky at all. I just... just being out of the house is more than enough for me."

[Namari]

" i hear you. those papers... it's some heavy stuff. i have a feeling it's going to take time to get through it. we shouldn;t wear ourselves down. your parents have waited this long, awhile longer won;t make a difference."

Aki nods and looks down, "i just hope... that i still want to find them after we get through those papers."
