Topic: The long road, a pokemon journey (Namari x missylooni)

[MissyLooni]

Aki hums, "so it sounds like maybe they're being watched before hand so they know which pokemon have what trackers?"

[Namari]

Satoshi nods, " that's what it seems like. well, lets see if we can locate a few of these pokemon and see what they have to say i suppose."

[MissyLooni]

Aki nods, "Yeah let's go find some of these trainers." Aki starts looking for some trainers to talk to

[Namari]

Satoshi nods and starts asking around, trying to find someone who's had a pokemon taken.

[MissyLooni]

A petite girl, about 14 is one of the pokemon trainers who was dealing with the aftermath of having one of her pokemon abducted and she frowns when satoshi approaches her, "i... don't really want to bring up the past."

[Namari]

Satishi kneels down to look at her, " i know it must be tough. i have a friend who's really really good with pokemon, he might be able to help yours. will you let him see your pokemon?"

[MissyLooni]

Paige frowns and sighs,  "that's what a lot of people said. Raichu has been in nurse joys care for months only for nothing to come of it. What on earth makes you think your friend is more capable at helping pokemon than an actual pokemon nurse? "

[Namari]

Satoshi sighs, " im sorry you've had to go through that. my friend is pretty special, he has an uncanny way of being able to guess what a pokemon might be trying to tell him. I'll tell you what, i'll bring him over here, and we can ask Raichu if he's willing to talk with him? after all we can all understand if he nods or shakes his head."

[MissyLooni]

Paige sighs and digs into her front overall pocket, pulling out a glittery pokeball, "if you're sure..."

Aki is down the block, talking to some other trainers

Satoshi pulls his phone out and sends a quick text to Aki, telling him they might have a possible lead. " well im not sure, nothing in the world is certain. but it's something you haven't tried yet, and i'd want my pokemon to be as happy and healthy as they can be, no matter what it took to get them that way." his thoughts go to skunktank and he quickly dismisses them, he's trying his best to make sure the pokemon has the best quality of life, and for now that meant he stayed in his pokeball which had everything the pokemon could want.

Aki gets the text and he says goodbye to the other he was talking to before heading back, looking around until he sees Satoshi, "Oiii~! You got a lead?" he sees the girl and blinks, "she's tiny. how old is she?"

Paige blinks before turning red and huffing, "im 14 you stinky adult!"

[Namari]

Satoshi shakes his head, " not the best impression dude." he looks at her, " rude though he may be, this is the friend i was talking about. will you let Raichu out so we can ask if he's willing to talk to him?"

[MissyLooni]

Paige raises an eyebrow at Satoshi, "talk?"

Aki looks at Satoshi before shrugging. he leans over paige and sighs, "I am really good at knowing what a pokemon is saying. really good. like, you could say i know what they are saying. so, if you could please allow me the chance to talk to your pokemon, you'll be grateful."

Paige's eye twitch, "know what they are saying? i dont believe."

aki shrugs, "well, one way to prove if im telling the truth or not. your choice since i can just find someone else."

Paige blinks before huffing quietly, "yeah. it is my choice." she lets her raichu out, watching as the pokemon quickly flinches and curls up into a tight ball.

[Namari]

Satoshi chuckles, " well, even if he just asked yes and no questions for the pokemon to respond to, technically that's still them talking. And i did say he was really good at understanding pokemon." he frowns as he sees the Raichu, " it's alright buddy, nobody here is going to hurt you."

[MissyLooni]

the ball doesnt move, doesnt even make a sound as raichu stays a tight as possible.

paige frowns, "He's been like this ever since. not even his favorite treats will calm him down. i cant even hold him to make him feel better."

Aki blinks and frowns, studying raichu for a second before casually picking him up and tucking him under his arm like a basketball, "got it."

Paige blinks, her eyes widening slightly, "H-hey what are you doing?"

Aki turns around, "Just gonna have a talk with him alone. give him a neutral space without anyone around."

Paige sputters slightly, "you cant just take him! you could just leave and not come back!"

Aki groans softly at the child assuming he'd steal a pokemon, however, instead of arguing he just turns back to satoshi and holds out the balled up pokemon, "hold this for a second."
