Soon they reach the apartment building and Izanagi unlocks the door before waiting for Takana. Arakan watches them go in, " stay inside at night. make sure you get your collars checked tomorrow." he looks at Takana, " DON'T be late to inspection day. you've never had it before, and there's nothing that i can say to prepare you... it's not always easy. Follow Izanagi and listen to him, he's been through enough to know how to behave to get through safely. I won't be able to protect you there."

Takana flinches and looks away, giving a hesitant nod.  What was he supposed to say?  Nothing. Dont open your mouth. You'll just make someone mad...
He heads inside,  feeling a little sick

Arakan sighs as he watches the other go in. He wasn't about to get much sleep tonight or tomorrow, but after the inspections he could relax again. He turns and walks off, going to patrol.

Izanagi goes into their apartment and flops onto his bed, " man..."

Takana goes to his room and sits down, sighing, "what the hell. what am i even to expect in the next couple of days."

Izanagi goes to the bathroom and showers before changing into the kimono from Nikiri, inhaling deeply with the fabric pressed to his nose as he curls up in bed. it was going to be a rough couple of days that was for sure.

takana changes into pajama's before falling asleep for the night

Izanagi falls to sleep after a little bit of comfort from the scent of the kimono. he sleeps through the night and is asleep in the morning when the sun rises.

Takana is already up with a cup of tea, sighing as he sits at the table. should he see if izanagi was even hungry? the whole mood seemed terrible

Izanagi does soon wake, stumbling out of bed rubbing his eyes as he yawns. He shuffles to the kitchen and since there wasn;t any food smells, he tosses some bread into the toaster.

Takana sees izanagi and he frowns before staring back at his coffee.

[Namari]

Izanagi grabs the dry toast and plops onto the couch, munching it quietly.

[MissyLooni]

takana finishes his coffee and sets the cup in the sink. what do they do today? something about getting his collar checked? why? he just got the collar.

[Namari]

Izanagi finishes his toast and sighs, " i suppose we better get moving, the lines for the collar fitters are always bad the day before inspections, so we'll be there awhile."

takana blinks and looks at izanagi, "collar fitters?"

[Namari]

Izanagi nods, " yeah, the person who fitted you for your collar. they do things like maintaining them and checking to make sure they're working too. there's only a few of them, they're only run by humans so understandably they're not a popular job for someone with the skills needed. they're also only near the border, so it's safer for them. almost every demon in the district will be going by to visit them, so the lines will be long."
