nikiri smiles when he gets his coffee, "Aww thanks! And i guess. Im in charge of watching him, arakan's daddy ordered it. So I need to be a babysitter for both of you since you and him are always around each other."

[Namari]

Izanagi winces, " well that's rough. i mean im glad that you'll be around more, but i doubt it'll be very fun."

[MissyLooni]

nikiri shrugs, "who knows. i will be around you some more."

[Namari]

Izanagi smiles, " well that'll be nice anyway. i gotta get back to work, things are picking back up. lemme know if you need anything."

[MissyLooni]

nikiri nods, "Of course. Dont work too hard~"

[Namari]

Izanagi blows him a kiss before flouncing off to tend other customers."

nikiri hums and starts drinking his coffee, pulling out his phone and browsing the internet as he plays babysitter

The day runs fairly smoothly, business picking up as demons get out of their inspection funks and get back to their lives.

the day winds down and its a couple of hours shy of closing. there are still a few customers left and mina happily bounces over to a guy who had just taken a seat, "Good evening and thank you for stopping by! Can I get you anything to drink?"

The guy grunts, not very enthused, "Not thirsty."

Mina blinks before putting on a smile again, "Okaaaayy~! Well we have plenty of dessert items to pick through, or if you came for our special ramen or curry I can easily put an order in for you."

The guy lifts up his sunglasses to look at mina, "Sure I'm hungry. but not for food, sugar tits. What menu are you on and how much do I gotta pay?"

Mina freezes up when she sees the demon's eyes. Black sclera with white iris. Not good. Demons with those type of eyes usually come from the 4th district which is made up of some cruel and awful demons. the kind that make humans look like angels in comparison.

Mina hears what the guy says and she turns pale, "U-um su-sure I uh I can get you a menu right- right away sir." Mina turns around, hoping to calmly get the manager. She cant tell what rank he is but she doesnt want to cause a scene since he could hurt somebody.

"Hey I didnt give you permission to leave!" The guy snarls and grabs her with both hands, one holding her right thigh tightly while the other wraps over her chest, pulling her close to him.

As soon as Mina feels the demon grab her she panics and starts screaming.

Takana damn near drops his pan of food but manages to set it to the side when he hears mina screaming

Nikiri startles awake and he twists around to look at the other end of the cafe, silently cursing when he sees whats going on

Hikari's eyes widen and she quickly hides behind the counter.

Kaeru shrieks and runs to find the manager, although with how loud mina screamed kaeru was sure she wouldnt have to look too hard

[Namari]

The manager soon came out of her office and pales when she sees the situation, " sir, i have to ask you to let go of my employee. this is a cafe, if you wish to order something from our menu we are happy to help. if not, i ask you please leave." almost no chance of it happening, but it was worth a try. She quickly sends a text to Arakan asking for help.

Izanagi hides around the corner in the kitchen.

Takana comes out around the corner and he sees the demon and he glares, about to stomp over to give him the business

Mina is shaking, trying not to cry as she just whimpers

The guy gives a short laugh, "No can do old hag. I have a job to do and if that includes kidnappin then so be it."

Nikiri's eyes narrow and he gets up, holding back the urge to kill. he really didnt have the time for this. He calmly walks up to them, his kimono hiding the fact the he already has his hand on his sword, "A job you say? I didnt realize that our little district was letting other demons in for employment. May I see your papers?"

The demon looks a bit startled when nikiri just fucking walks right up to them. he blinks and then notices the antlers, "Oh its one of you Okuya's of course I'd run in to one of you. You fucking rabbits are everywhere."

Nikiri huffs, "Deer actually. but thank you. mother will appreciate the crass comment. Now, my previous question. Papers."

"Aint got none. Aint need one."

"So you admit you are not supposed to be here?"

The demon snarls, "Just fuck off! You cant question me like that! Im a true C rank, unlike your piece of shit family. Its pathetic that you lot get to be a C rank just cuz you talk to scum!"

Nikiri's anger goes up, "I suppose thats why I can talk to you just fine. I believe I have wasted enough time. Let go of the girl."

"No! I aint leavin until I get a girl to the boss!" the demon tightens his grip on Mina, causing the girl to cry out.

Nikiri's eyes narrow and a soft 'click' is heard before he takes a step back

The demon blinks when nikiri takes a step back until suddenly his hands drop to the ground, lifeless and squirting blood from his severed arms. He screams in shock and pain as he realizes his hands have been cleanly sliced off.

Mina realizes she's not held anymore and she sobs before running over to the manager and clinging to her desperately.

The manager watches the exchange calmly, there was nothing she could really do in this situation. She was a bit worried when Nikiri stepped up, but he was really the only one here that could deal with him.

Izanagi grabs onto Takana, eyes wide as he shakes his head frantically.

When Mina comes to her the manager grabs onto her gently, patting her back as she shifts so that she's between her employee and the demon.

The temperature in the cafe noticeably drops by several degrees, and the doors open with fog rolling in ahead of Arakan, clearly seething. As he steps ice crackles at his feet as he walks towards the demon, " exactly what the fuck do you think you're doing in MY district."

nikiri quickly steps as far back as he needs to stay out of arakan's way

The demon tries tucking his arms under himself, trying to stop the bleeding, "F-fuck you man. Just fucking kill me!"

Nikiri hums, "You mentioned your 'boss' wanting a girl. does this have anything to do with that mysterious demon that smells like sulfur?" he glances at arakan, "might benefit you to freeze his arms to stop the bleeding and get him to talk. figure out whats going on maybe." he really didnt want to make arakan snap at him but he really was curious if this demon and the other are connected

Arakan glares at Nikiri and swears softly before looking back at the demon, " death is too easy of a way to deal with you." he quickly walks over and grabs the guys arms, freezing them from the elbows down. He then slams his fist into the guys head to knock him out. He looks at Nikiri, " you made the damn mess, you fucking clean it up." he glances over at Mina and the manager, " she's off work for a few days, have her family come take her home. I'll be back once i've put this filth someplace appropriate." he grabs the guy by the back of the shirt and drags him from the store.

The manager talks softly to Mina and pulls out her phone, calling the girls parents and tell them that there was an incident and they needed to come get her, but she was fine.

takana waits until arakan leaves before going over to mina, checking on her as well.

Nikiri sighs, "yeeeeah i made a mess." he hums and looks at mina briefly before looking up at the manager, waiting patiently for her availability

hikari sighs softly when everythings done and she is safe

mina sighs softly, her face bright red in embarrassment
