Izanagi nods, " sure, i'll just grab my work bag in case the trip runs long. i... might hang back a bit, you might be okay with those humans but... i'll pass."

Takana nods and goes to his room, grabbing his ring in case and putting it on. He heads to the door and waits for izanagi, "i'll make it as fast as possible."

Izanagi grabs his bag and follows with, " we do have some time, im just being prepared in case... lets get going." he leads the way to the border, looking more uneasy as they get closer.

Takana hums, "Well i know we wont be late, i was just saying i'd be fast for your comfort. thats all." he happily follows izanagi

Izanagi nods, " alright." he stops a ways back, " alright, that's the border, you can go talk to them. im staying here."

Takana nods and grins, "If you say so~" he happily walks up to the gates, "Hey~!"

the guards at the gate jump in shock that any demon would be just dumb enough to approach them, quickly raising their guns at Takana, "FREEZE!!"

Takana flinches and turns pale briefly before holding up his hands, giving a nervous chuckle, "ahhahhahaaa.... very funny... hey um, im not here to cause trouble, I just need to talk to Curtis if he's here. He's my ex-boyfriend."

The guards stammer and look at each other, completely dumbfounded.

Curtis hears the commotion and quickly goes over since he is in command and his eyes widen, "Takana!??! What the fu-" he shakes his head and quickly looks at the guards, "Um.... stand down. He's.... human. Despite the ears.... and collar..."

Takana blinks and reaches up, gently removing the ears, wincing, "ah sorry yeah, yeah. These are fake. Nice disguise, yeah?"

Curtis shoo's his flabbergasted men away before glaring at Takana, "WHAT THE HELL!? Are you STUPID?! Are you INSANE!? Why the HELL are you HERE!? Of all the idiotic things you have done, this. THIS. HAS EASILY BEEN THE STUPIDEST things you've ever done!!! HOW!? Your last stunt made me dump you but THIS is SO much WORSE!!!"

Takana flinches and raises his shoulders, not like getting this lecture, "Uh.... well.... i didnt have anywhere else to go. "

Curtis throws his hands in the air, "MY HOUSE!!!! You could have come to MEEEE!"

Takana snorts, "you just moved in with Molly fresh from your honeymoon."

Curtis slaps his face with the palm of his hand, growling softly, "What fucking guard let you in?"

Takana shrugs, "I dunno. Does it matter?"

"YES. I plan on firing him after I drag you back. I JUST got done talking with Yori. He's been looking EVERYWHERE for you! You have him worried SICK!"

Takana blinks and frowns, "Y-yori.... I..." he sighs, "I wont lie, I do want to be with him since he's the only decent family member but he's better with our families money. He could easily convince his mom to let him move out Im sure."

Curtis shakes his head, "I wouldnt bet on it. apparently your bitch of a mother is now pressuring him to have kids since you are not an option."

Takana groans, "Jeeze.... how am i not surprised..." He huffs, "Well, I cant cross over anymore. I have a collar. everyone will think im a demon."

Curtis snarls, "How are you even alive? Do they know you're last-"

"-shut it-! my last name is Kuro. thats all they need to know."

"If you're not here to come back then WHY are you here?"

"I want the rule book. I know you have a copy"

Curtis sighs, "why do you want it?"

"Reasons. Now please give it to me. And also, dont tell yori im here."

"what? But he's been looking for you!" Curtis digs in his swat team suit and pulls out a black book, holding it out to takana

Takana takes it and stuffs it in his bag, "Because if he knows im here then he'll want to sneak over and thats not safe. No one can know im here."

Curtis frowns, ".....and if i tell him anyway?"

Takana snorts, "I'll let Molly know about us."

Curtis glares, "You wouldnt."

Takana shrugs, "Im obviously desperate."

Curtis pinches the bridge of his nose and snarls, "fine. i'll keep my mouth shut for now. Now get out of here. You have a weird guy back there."

"Oh. Thats my roommate. He's pretty chill. Thanks for the book!!" he puts the ears back on, grunting a bit in pain as it re-attaches and waves before going back over to izanagi

Izanagi stares wide eyed at the exchange, having whimpered at first when they pointed their guns at him but just cowering when they were yelling at each other. He looks at Takana with wide eyes when he comes back, " a-are you okay?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana chuckles, "Yeah im cool. I got what i wanted. and apparently my little brother yori has been looking for me... I hope he's doing well....he unfortunately shares the same cruel mother."

[Namari]

Izanagi peers past Takana at Curtis, eyes wide, " what are you going to do? you said you liked your brother, if he's worried are you gonna try and talk to him?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, "No. at least... i dont know.... I fear if he knows im here he will jump over in a heart beat. and he's a good kid.... I dont want him getting mixed up in this stuff."

[Namari]

Izanagi frowns, " i feel kinda bad for him. if he's so worried and you just up and vanished... well, guess it's not my problem. we'd better get to work huh?" he's glad to put some distance between them and the guards.

[MissyLooni]

takana sighs, "Man dont make me feel worse about it. Dont get me wrong id love to be with him but its dangerous here." he keeps walking towards the cafe, sighing

Izanagi shrugs, " i mean yeah, but we seem to manage despite that." he gets to the cafe and heads into the back to change.

Takana gets to the back and heads to the kitchen to get ready

The work day continues as usual, little out of the ordinary until midday, when the speakers crackle to life and Arakan's voice comes over them, " Beginning now and until further notice i am ordering a curfew for all D and E rank demons, you are not to be out after dark. It is highly recommended that C class demons consider doing this as well, although at this moment it is not required. Businesses will alter your hours to comply. That is all." and it goes silent.

Izanagi gapes at the speakers, " a curfew? that's never happened before. i wonder if it has to do with those strange demons."
