Yori huffs, if you're not gonna help me then i'll figure out how to get in there to help him myself. thank you for the information, i'll deal with it from here. he shuts his phone off and hurries to the store, buying a collar that looks close to the ones their family makes, a set of cat ears, and a prepaid phone with a few months of time on it.

curtis yelps and keeps trying to text yori, not knowing his phone is off

Yori makes sure he has a few hundred dollar on him in cash, most of it well hidden, and heads to the demon district. apparently Takana got in looking human, so he'd try that first. He makes sure he has a hat on and gets up to the gates, looking at the guards, " i want to go in."

The guards blink as they all look at yori, then at themselves, stunned before they start laughing.

One guard looks back at yori, "alright kid we'll entertain the thought,  where are your papers? "

[Namari]

Yori blinks, " papers?" he frowns for a moment before holding out a twenty dollar bill, " i need to go in to find someone, then i'll be back out."

one guard sneers, "20 dollars? What are you boss, a cheap slut? the balls on this kid."

[Namari]

Yori blinks, " oh. sorry." he pulls out a few more 20s, about 140 at this point. he didn;t want to have to dig into where he had the rest stashed but he had more. " is this enough?"

the other guards blink, becoming quiet.

the leader blinks before narrowing his eyes, "What piece of shit demon is worth going in there with no papers and a chunk of cash boy?"

Yori frowns, " well... just someone i know. but he doesn;t have a phone and i can;t get ahold of him. so... i wanted to go find him. what does it matter to you? the money spends the same regardless of who im looking for."

[MissyLooni]

the boss snorts, "Just gotta make sure humans dont start getting chummy with demons. otherwise the demons will take advantage of that and kill us all. nothing but savages..." he takes the money and opens the gate, "Dont say i didnt warn ya though."

[Namari]

Yori nods, " i'll keep that in mind. i'll be back to leave before it gets dark, whether i find him or not." he takes a deep breath and heads in.

Rin Okuya is happily walking around the streets, pretending to be minding her business, but also keeping an eye on anything weird since her brother is being tended to with the other older sisters.

Yori had popped into an alley and put the collar on and the ears just in case, and was walking around the district looking for his brother. where would he even start?

Rin notices Yori and blinks as she watches his demeanor for a few minutes before frowning. She crosses the street and hums softly as she approaches him, "Hello?"
