Arakan sighs, " i was considering getting some rest. new information that appears correct says we have no threats for the time being, so i can leave the night patrol to a few c ranks. i feel uneasy leaving you two here alone though, so perhaps i ought to patrol anyway."

Takana shakes his head, "no you should rest. You being exhausted isnt great either. If we had another bed id just tell you to crash here, then you'd sleep and be close for your ease of mind, but we dont and i doubt you'd enjoy this couch."

Arakan glances at the couch, " while it's not my first choice i'll survive it. i've slept in worse places. i'll probably sleep easier being close at hand if needed anyway."

[MissyLooni]

takana nods, "alright. sleepover it is. do you need or want a pillow? blanket perhaps?"

" pillow please. blanket is enjoyed but not needed. i don;t really get cold, it's just a sensation thing." he had expected the other to protest more.

takana nods and gets up, going to his rooms and grabbing one of his pillows, picking the one he personally brought from home. probably one of the nicest things in this whole building honestly so he hoped arakan would appreciate the egyptian cotton which had mulberry silk knitted into it. the zipper tread was 24 carat gold while the zipper pull had a design in it using sapphire's. it probably was his favorite pillow in the world.

he gave it one good squeeze before going to the living room and holding it out for arakan, "Here. its the pillow i brought from my home so even if you're on a shitty couch this pillow should make up for it."

Arakan blinks and takes the pillow, looking at it, " is... this a usable pillow? it looks... fancy."

takana blinks before raising an eyebrow, "Uh, yeah? i use it all the time. it feels incredible to lay on."

Arakan looks at the zipper, " is...tell me that's just gold colored. this has to just be a gaudy pillow."

[MissyLooni]

takana blinks, "no? thats 24 carat gold. i mean, its all real. its shaped by a professional head and neck specialist. this pillow has saved my insomnia troubles quite a bit. i know you'll like it."

Arakan holds it out, " i can;t use this, not if it's that expensive."

takana raises an eyebrow, "And, realistically, what does it being expensive have anything to do with sleeping on it? i sleep on it all the time."

Arakan huffs, " because it's yours. that's your choice. if i ruined it, i'd never be able to replace it."

[MissyLooni]

takana shrugs, "arakan. its also my choice to let you use it. I appreciate the thoughtful concern but if i didnt want it to get ruined then i would have left it behind."

Arakan sighs, " im not going to get another pillow if i refuse to use this one, am i?"
