Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

Arakan snorts softly, " at least things are better than when we first came to the districts. i've heard some bad stories. i also know some demons in the rougher areas lure rats and pigeons in to catch for food, since meat is hard to come by."

Takana shudders, "okay I know I said I wasn't picky but I would prefer not to eat rats or pidgeon in the future. Not sure if that would mess up my stomach or not."

Arakan chuckles, "one of the perks of the main family is we don't have to resort to that. And though organ meats are common here we usually just get liver, it's the most palatable, and the most nutrient dense. so it's perfect for us who have to keep ourselves in peak condition."

[MissyLooni]

Takana snorts softly, "okay. I'm going to see if yori can't sneak over a rump roast. That might be a good treat."

[Namari]

Arakan blinks, " oh sure."

[MissyLooni]

"It won't be a fancy steak or anything but I could make an excellent pot roast if I could also get my hands on a slow cooker." He hums softly

Arakan rubs the back of his neck, " uh, i know there's some older methods of slow cooking. like getting coals going and having the food buried with them. im not sure if i know anyone with a slow cooker."

[MissyLooni]

Takana looks at arakan and shrugs, "I'm sure I can figure something out, thanks though. If I ever went that route I'd also want to get my hands on something to wrap it with but, again,  I can figure this out. "

Arakan shrugs, " put it in a pot with a lid. then you keep the juice and everything and can put lots of stuff in."

[MissyLooni]

"Would have to be a pretty thick pot and lid. Eh. It's fine, it's fine. It will be a thought for a different day. " He hums and glances at his tea cup. They always had pretty good tea thankfully.

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " metal with a metal lid would do the trick. i've heard clay can be used, but that's not something we get often here." he sighs, " right, well we can take you home, or if you'd like to stay here until it gets a bit later and Izanagi will be home we can. either way i'll find work to get done."

[MissyLooni]

takana hums, "I better get home. then you wont be disturbed from your work later."

[Namari]

Arakan shrugs, " i will be staying with you anyway so it doesn't matter much." he grabs the stack of papers he'd set aside. " lets go then. i can at least look these reports over while i keep guard."

Takana nods, "alright." He gets up and waits for arakan to lead the way

Arakan heads out and back to Izanagi's apartment, " i hope it wasn;t too boring while i was gone."
