takana opens the files, each file containing schematics and codes to current and upcoming devices and inventions made by Kuroshiba corp.

The young man's ears perk up and his eyes widen slightly, absolutely stunned seeing his families lifework on his computer like this

Arakan sharply inhales as he sees all this, " well now. i know he said they were working with the humans, but these humans? look at the newer stuff, i'd like to see what new humiliations they have in store..." he scoffs softly.

Takana is pale and he is frozen in his spot, terrified of opening the next file. What else could they have? The Good Boy Collar schematics were staring him in the face and he felt sick when the file also pointed out the Collar's average failure rate and which collars were more prone to failure then others.

He felt incredibly ill....

Arakan blinks as he sees those statistics and growls, " those bastards know some of them are more likely to fail and they still make us wear them? bastards... that's good information though, knowing that i might be able to keep more people alive..." he sighs softly, and notices that Takan is frozen, " ... hey, are you okay there? oh right, you don't like anything negative against the humans, well sorry, but this is reality." he puts a hand on the others shoulder, " this information can save lives though, if we avoid the ones that are more likely to fail we can make our odds better."

Takana shudders and hesitantly clicks to the next file, almost regretting it instantly when he sees his own microchip schematic pop up. Some of the notes were still in his own handwriting for gods sake!
He couldnt believe his family stole his own ideas from his notebook. Did his dad know? They didnt even change the materials used or what to even call it.

Arakan leans in for a closer look and snarls, the temps dropping, " is that a fucking implant? i'll allow them to put a fucking chip in any of my people over my god damned body!"

Takana flinches and looks at arakan, panicking, "i-im sure the design wasn't made as an implant! What- what if the person was just trying to make it easier for the demons and was just- i- I don't know, not being sensitive towards the idea of a microchip?"

Arakan snorts, " and where else is it going to go? it says it's a replacement for collars. it's too small to be something to put in our pockets, and they wouldn;t trust us that much."

Takana huffs, not liking his own invention to be critiqued so suddenly, "glad you hate it so much I guess." His ears flatten, before he goes into the contract folder, looking for the file number that corresponds with the microchip file, wanting to know what's happening with his design

Arakan looks sharply at him, " and you would enjoy having something put into your body that will track your every movement and probably have the ability to shock you if you do the wrong thing? The collars are bad enough as it is, i don;t think you understand. You do not have another form, for those of us that are 'discouraged' from taking our other shape with electric shocks, it's forcing us to try and ignore half of ourselves. I am this shape, but i am my other shape just as much. they are both parts of me."

Takana snarls, "the original design didn't have any of that!! It was literally just a way to make things more easier for demons but it was a trash design and it got pitched so it shouldn't even be here!!"

Arakan looks at Takana and narrows his eyes, " and how exactly would you even know that?"

Takana's eyes widen and he turns pale as his face falls, "i- "

He wasn't sure what to say. Did he just out himself? He suddenly felt very.... fucked.

He shrunk in his seat, arakans gaze making him suddenly terrified
