Arakan nods, " thank you for stepping in and dealing with him. i could have stopped him but... it would not have ended well i think. i will be checking all of my people for that particular collar i assure you."

Izanagi untangles from Takana after a long hug before jumping into Nikiri's arms, shaking a bit.

Curtis nods to arakan, "I wouldn't have let him hurt Takana." Speaking of which, with izanagi now off of his ex Curtis could finally wrap his arms around Takana, hugging him tightly.

Takana's eyes widen briefly and his face flushes pink before he returns the hug. It had been so long since another human held him, and aside from nagi just now it had been a while since he had a hug in general, "haha... what's the matter? Did I give you a fright back there?"

Curtis breaks the hug, gently holding takana out at arms length, gripping the man's shoulders as his caring expression quickly sours, "WHAT THE HELL IS THE MATTER WITH YOU?! JUMPING IN FRONT OF A LOADED GUN?? HAVE YOU GONE INSANE?!YEAH YOU GAVE ME A FUCKING FRIGHT YOU DUMB BASTARD WHAT IF YOU GOT SHOT?? WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF YOU GOT HURT?!"

Takana blinks for a brief moment before grinning slightly, "awww you were worried."

Curtis let's go of Takana and holds up his hands in a frustrated motion, "Ooooh my god why the fuck do I still even care about you! Why?!" He storms to his post and grabs his report before looking at arakan, "you deal with him."

Nikiri holds back any chuckling as he does his best to focus on pampering izanagi with hugs

Arakan snorts, " shame you don't view all lives with the same value."

Izaangi whimpers softly, " can... can you just cuddle with me? i don't even want sex, i just don't want to be alone...."

Arakan eyes Curtis before looking at Takana, " oh trust me, there will be some discussion taking place. home. NOW."

Nikiri nods, "of course. I can take you right to my place after this okay?"

Takana was about to laugh at Curtis until he hears arakan's comment and his ears flatten, "wha-why am I in trouble?"

Izanagi nods, refusing to let go of Nikiri.

Arakan sighs, " this is not something to discuss in front of him." his eyes flick over to Curtis, " it's more complicated than simply right and wrong."

Curtis leaves with his report and nikiri hoists izanagi up bridal style and looks at arakan, "don't scare him too much." He leaves with izanagi.

Takana's ears stay flat and he lowers his head a little, suddenly feeling like he was about to be in serious trouble

Arakan sighs, " this is for me to handle. you take care of him. he doesn;t need to show up to work for at least a few days." he nods his head at Izanagi. He then starts heading for the apartment, looking back at Takana to make sure he's following.

Takana nervously follows, his ears starting to shake the closer they get to the apartment. Arakan wouldn't kill him over this, would he? He didn't want to die, certainly not to someone he thought he could trust....
He needed to think of a way to escape if that was the case. Maybe try to get some water boiling first, throw it at him, and then make a run for it.

Arakan steps into the apartment and shuts the door behind them, sighing and sitting on the couch, putting his head into his hands, " i... this is a mess."

Takana watches arakan for a moment as he slowly side steps to the kitchen, "a-am I in trouble?"

Arakan pinches the bridge of his nose, " not really. what's done is done, there's no reversing it. but... this has just complicated things a lot."

Takana's ears perk and he blinks, "So.... im not gonna die? You weren't bringing me back home alone so you can kill me in private?"

[Namari]

Arakan shakes his head, " no, but i need to be stern in front of the humans. i... i know you didn;t want anything to happen to Izanagi, but do you have any idea what you've done?"

"I...." Takana's ears flatten a little, "um... I kept the Izanagi alive? Its like Curtis said, if the book is law then all of it has to be law. not just what is convenient for the humans."

Arakan snorts, " yes, in an ideal world, yes. You kept one demon alive, and stood up to the humans and proved they have been twisting things their way. now there will be more demons questioning how many of the rules we follow are real or not. and the humans will resent that they've been caught, and will undoubtedly lash out at us. I don;t like seeing my people die, but i have to make the hard choice of allowing one to die so avoid the death of an all out war."
