Arakan nods, " exactly. we had no such tactics we could use against them. as you saw previously, any attempt to negotiate would quickly be shut down with threats of further death. and while i could easy have killed the man, that would only bring their armies here to try and crush us. my hands have always been tied."

Takana sighs, "I wish i could do that more often but if it wasnt for curtis i wouldnt have been able to get away with what i did."

[Namari]

Arakan sighs, " i'll take what i can get."

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs and gets to the cafe, "well thanks for walking me here. Don't work too hard okay? "

[Namari]

Arakan snorts softly, " no promises. there's always much to do, especially with the changes being made. However i will come back in a few hours for a meal, i could use the nutrition."

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods, "I look forward to cooking for you." He grins a little before heading inside to start working

Arakan raises an eyebrow and shakes his head, sitting for a few minutes until Kaiten shows up, then leaving.

After a few hours nikiri stops by the apartment, pulling out his phone and texting izanagi,  hey I'm outside. Ready for lunch?

Izanagi runs to the door and opens it, " yeah!"

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri shakes his head and holds out his hand, "glad you're excited. Let's go."

[Namari]

Izanagi takes his hand and cuddles up to his side as they walk, " i've been lonely all day."

[MissyLooni]

nikiri sighs, "I know. and im sorry. but trust me, after yesterday you wouldnt have wanted to wait for me in that meeting. it was filled with humans."

[Namari]

Izanagi pales and clings tighter to Nikiri's arm, " no... you're right..."

[MissyLooni]

nikiri gives izanagi's hand a gentle squeeze, "exactly. but thankfully you have yourself a nice new stupid collar instead of that older thing AND you have some time off from work. thats nice, right?"

[Namari]

Izanagi nods a bit, " yeah i guess so..." he blinks rapidly, trying to keep tears from forming, " why do things have to be like this? why can't more of them be like Takana?"
