Takana grins, "It might keep him out of the house more."

Arakan chuckles, " good luck getting him to leave his room with his lover."

takana snorts. "Or at his lovers bedroom. either way if it keeps him busy and stop making comments than i'll be happy."

" fair i suppose. though hook him up with a few guys in an alley and i bet he'd be just as happy." he shakes his head and finishes his pancakes, " thank you."

Takana nods and smiles, "You're welcome." he grabs his bag and looks at arakan, "i wont lie, i have been daydreaming of fresh strawberries with my pancakes so i cant wait for the gardens to be made."

Arakan chuckles, " well those don;t last long so they might be lower on the priority list. personally i think first i'd like to see things like potatoes, onions, and carrots grown. since those can last a lot longer. but perhaps we can justify a few treats."

[MissyLooni]

takana pouts, "Pick them and then freeze them! you gotta have some fruit! especially if we're putting in a greenhouse."

Arakan raises an eyebrow, " i have to think about what will produce the most for the effort put into them, and what will benefit my district most. Like i said, perhaps we can allow a small amount, but for now im more concerned that my people get affordable filling staples than treats."

[MissyLooni]

takana sighs, "I suppose....." he pouts, "i love strawberries.... maybe when yori and isabelle come back from the cruise they can stop by with a pint of fruit...."

Arakan sighs and smiles a bit before kissing Takana's forehead, " i'll tell you what, i'll set a little of the dirt aside for you so you can grow some here okay? i can;t give you too much, but you'll be able to have a plant or two. right now i think there will be less opposition once demons start having full bellies. then we'll have more support and be able to get more to help with tending the plants and growing. but baby steps. fill as many hungry stomachs as possible, and that'll speak for itself."

Takana blushes and nods, "you're.... you're right. I guess I'm just getting excited about the idea of fresh produce that I'm not thinking of the bigger picture. At least you can freeze carrots and corn and other veggies and they'll last longer too."

Arakan smiles, " i know, things won;t be like you're used to how it was before you came here, might never get to be that good, but i have to focus on the most practical things first. i was raised to see the bigger picture, and it's in my bloodlines. you've never had to worry about an entire community. anyway, you wanted to go to the store? hopefully we can find some of what you'd like."

Takana nods, "I just need some basic stuff. I'm not going to try to get anything fancy."

" should have a good chance to get it then." he gets up, placing his dishes into the sink.

Takana gets his shoes on and waits for arakan, knowing that arakan will insist on takana waiting
