takana snorts softly, "A hotpot feeds at least 6 people. you being here makes 6. This is without isabelle bringing half of her garden and all of the other ingredients. I have enough to feed at the very least 12 people, maybe 8 if we all stuff ourselves until we cant breathe. if anything you'd be doing me a favor to have less leftovers."

Indigo chuckles softly, " very well then. since i am not making a burden of myself i will join you with pleasure." he sits back down.

Takana nods, "Good. Imma throw some veggies into the pot now so I dont have to find a spot on the table for them since they go in pretty early anyway." he grabs a few plates of isabelle's premium veggies and mushrooms and dumps them into the pot before setting the plates back in the kitchen, "Grab an empty plate, pick a slice of meat, swirl it in the boiling pot for a few seconds before pulling it out and eating it with or without a dipping sauce."

He sets some sauces down before handing arakan specifically a red tiny bowl filled with sauce that looks an angry red, "This is specifically yours. no one dips their food in the red bowl. you'll probably die if you try to handle this type of spice."

Indigo laughs softly as we watches the red bowl come out, " don't worry, our heir to the district is well known for his ability to handle spice. i have no desire to put myself through that sort of torment." He carefully grabs a slice of meat and dips it into the pot, watching it cook and pulling it out, looking at the now cooked meat, " fascinating. " he pops it into his mouth.

Izanagi wrinkles his nose at the red bowl and grabs some fatty meat and dunks it, chewing happily after he stuffs it into his mouth.


Yori also sits, looking curious at the red bowl, " is it really that bad? how can he tolerate it if it'd be that bad for someone else?"

takana chuckles and looks at yori, "Having ice powers helps with that, but i am serious. please dont touch his sauce yori. I have a dipping sauce that has normal spicy to it in a normal colored bowl here if anyone wants an acceptable amount of heat but the red bowl is death."

Yori wrinkles his nose, " weird... can i like, do that thing where you take a toothpick and just have like, a teeny tiny bit?"


Arakan rolls his eyes, before looking at Takana with a smirk" i see a lack of self preservation is a family trait it seems."


Indigo makes a soft choking noise at that, thumping his chest with his fist and clearing his throat.

Takana snorts softly at arakans comment before shaking his head at yori, "yori, if you ingest any of this then you will wish you were dead if you don't already die. I wear gloves and clothes I don't care about while I make it just in case a drop gets on me. Please don't even sneak a pin drop."

Arakan looks at Takana with an eyebrow raised, " you don;t need to go through that trouble for me."

Yori pouts but starts eating without complaining about it more.

Takana looks at arakan, "I don't make this spice often so no worries about that. Tonight is just a special occasion."

Arakan chuckles and dunks into it, taking a bite and letting out a long breath, " well damn, that's good. actually making me feel it. whooo."

Indigo makes sure to pass over the choicest tidbits to Isabelle, insisting that it's only proper.

Izanagi eats lots of the fatty meats, not having much of the veggies.

When they're all full Izanagi heads to bed, and Indigo thanks Isabelle for her kindness again before heading out into the cold to go home. Yori goes into Takana's room to nap off his full stomach a bit.

Takana is on his bed, out cold and snuggling with yori.

Once everyone has either slept or left Isabelle approaches arakan, "arakan, now that I have a moment of it just being us I was wondering if you and I could talk real quick. I won't take up much of your time."

Arakan raises an eyebrow and sits back at the table, " certainly you may. what do you need?"

Isabelle looks a little uncomfortable at first before starting, "what I say to you is something I don't want to get back to the boys. I know how they are. They are very similar and I'm sure you are very familiar with takana and how he is so just imagine two takana's. At any rate, a divorce between my husband and I is imminent and because of the prenuptial we signed beforehand both of our assets cannot be used or touched by the other person. Granted all of the funds and items that have been brought here has been strictly used by my accounts makoto was the one who paid for my clothes and it's being married to him that gave me the status that I had." She's quiet for a moment before sighing, "don't get me wrong, he hasn't brought anything up about a divorce, nor is it probably in his head space. It's me who has been pondering such a thing to a point that I can't deny it any longer. Staying with makoto might be a risk I can't handle."

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " i won't breathe a word. i know how to hold my tongue." he frowns as she continues, " im sorry you're dealing with so much. i doubt you're telling me this simply to confide in me, although i would not mind if it were the case. what do you need?"

Isabelle hums softly, "I'm not... sure yet. Most of my funds came from magazines and modeling thanks to makoto's connections so I don't know if I'll still have that. And the house is his too so once the divorce happens I'll need to spend money on finding a new place and... well I have another area in which I make money. My vineyard. That's all mine and while my quality wine does sell for a LOT it doesn't make much at this time. It's only an acre which sounds like a lot but it has buildings on it that process the wine which takes up space. I may be able to grow it out because the old gentleman has a 10 acre plot next to me that he kept flowers  and woods going just to stick it to some development company years back. Quite a few years back his wife died and I stopped by all the time to help him and his family out. Now he's looking to sell the land since his family don't want it and he offered me a good deal, below asking price since I had been a good friend to him. His only request is that I don't  turn it into a city or the sort. Vineyard is fine but he hates the city. It's a lot of money to front, even with the discount and... I would need workers pretty quickly in order to help rebuild the land and expand the vineyard. So I guess... what I'm asking for is help. Or advice of some sort. This divorce isn't happening tomorrow or the day after, and I can push it back quite a bit so that I still have a tabloid and model cash flow for a while but I will eventually need to make my own money if I am to continue helping this district WHICH I plan to still do. I want to. That isn't going to change."
She's quiet for a moment, trying to find where she went in the ramble, "sorry... I'm nervous... divorce was never something I saw in my future. There are a lot of if's going on at the moment so I guess... hypothetically if I were to purchase this man's property and expand my vineyard... and need heavy lifters, hard workers and had a safe mode of transportation for them to my job... could.... could you see any of your people working for me? I don't pay slave wages, I believe in fair pay for fair work but it's all hypothetical. Maybe. I-if it's not possible then that's fine, honest! I just... "it could help us both out", was my thinking."

She looked very distressed at the moment. Clearly this was something she had been thinking about for a few weeks and had been scared of even asking about such a thing.
