Davie quickly puts the number in before handing arakan his phone back, "no i... I believe you. I'm not happy about it but that's just how life seems to be when you're around humans."

[Namari]

Arakan snorts in amusement, " can't say i ever thought i'd be agreeing with a human on that opinion. Keep that guard post position in mind. And be careful." he pockets his phone.

[MissyLooni]

Davie nods, "alright. Will do. See ya around arakan!" He smiles and waves

[Namari]

Arakan nods, shaking his head a little as he heads back to Takana's apartment. " will wonders never cease..." he raps on the door before going in to let them know he's there.

Takana looks up from the couch and smiles, "hey! Welcome back. Did everything go alright?"

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " surprisingly well. nothing bad in the papers, and we get to pick the human guards. speaking of which, there's a new one that transferred from the first first district. i really hope he stays alive, because he seems like a nice kid. just... extremely sheltered."

[MissyLooni]

Takana blinks, "a first district guard getting bumped all the way to 4th district? Thats... quite a jump. "

[Namari]

" yeah, didn;t ask why he got moved here. but he's... woefully underinformed about how things work here. hell, we exchanged numbers. im sincerely concerned for his safety."

[MissyLooni]

Takana hums softly,  "well district 1 is considered the Disney district so I'm not surprised- wait what?  You... exchanged numbers with him?" His head snaps to look at arakan

Arakan raises an eyebrow, " yeah, so i could get in touch with him. he seems like a good candidate for one of the guard posts in the district. He's got a good attitude and none of this fear or hatred towards demons. plus he's painfully innocent and i'd rather him not die if i can help it."

[MissyLooni]

Takana is quiet for a moment before slowly looking back at his phone,  "ooookay. I just didn't think you'd ever get a humans number is all. "

[Namari]

'You're no more surprised than i am. he's got tht kind of... dumb innocence that makes you feel sorry for him. regardless, having a guard like that could be beneficial. " Arakan sits, then looks at Takana, " you're not jealous are you? it's just a human."

[MissyLooni]

Takana's ears move back, his eye twitching before huffing,  "I can't help it. You don't even have isabelle's number despite working with her,  but you'll happily exchange numbers with some human. I don't like it when your eyes aren't on me. "

[Namari]

Arakan raises an eyebrow, " i don't have her number because she doesn't want her husband getting suspicious. it's only because this one seems like if i don;t keep an eye on him he'll die within the week. im not interested in some human, im only doing it because he seems like he'll be useful for the district, nothing more." he gets up and walks over, pulling Takana into a hug.

Takana let's arakan hug him, but he doesn't hug back. He just sits there for a moment, thinking about what arakan said before he grumbles softly and he pulls away from arakans hug.
He moves the demons arms briefly before sitting on arakan's  lap so his head can rest on the man's chest and hug him, "okay now you can hug me."
