Takana hugs izanagi back and shudders, "i- I'm sorry... I'm sorry I'm so sorry."

Isabelle hums softly, looking at korri "still... thank you. For doing this. I know takana has a deep bond with touhou so to see him in this state is... crushing..."

Nikiri goes over to Isabelle and yori, "and you two are okay as well? Zeus said some pretty disturbing things over the phone and I just want to make sure we're on the same page here as to what happened."

Korri looks at Isabelle for a long moment, before nodding. " I do not turn away patients. I knew what Takana was the moment I laid eyes on him. I wish I could heal your ails, though internal damage is more difficult than external. The mouse will live, though with his state, he may not wish to. Who would cut out someone's tongue? Whoever did this to him is a true monster."

Izanagi hugs him tight before gently bapping him on the head, " you coulda talked to me dummy!"

Yori nods slowly, " I'm okay... I... I think my dad...I think my dad is a monster..."

Takana sniffles and nods, "I should have told you... I should have I just..." He hears what korri says and he whips his head around to look at her, "his tongue?! What?! What do you mean his tongue is cut off?!"

Nikiri sighs softly and gently places his hand on yori's head, "I'm sorry you all seem to be having a poor night."

[Namari]

Korri raises an eyebrow, " indeed." She gently lifts his head and opens his mouth to show the severed muscle. " You were unaware? He has had many injuries inflicted on him over time, I can see the evidence of their scarring. The tongue was done years ago."


Yori blinks and sniffles, shaking as everything kind of hits him and he starts crying.

Nikiri winces and sighs before hesitantly hugging yori

Takana let's go of izanagi so that he can go over to touhou and korri, turning a little green when he sees the empty mouth, "o-oh my.. god... what... i... no... no I didn't know. He... he used to talk all the time and then... after mom divorced dad he stopped talking. He would write instead until I taught him sign language and we talked that way. I even asked him if he was okay and he said that he was just sad that my mom left and didn't feel like talking....why... why would he not tell me that.."

Isabelle frowns, "takana you were just a child. How could he tell you, who at the time was probably still learning to tie your shoes, that something so gruesome was done to him?"

[Namari]

Yori hugs Nikiri, since he's there at the moment, " how... how could my dad be that... that thing? why did he try to attack me? why did the house save me? how is all this possible? i don't get it..." he cries quietly, burying his face into Nikiri.

Izanagi looks on helplessly.


Korri gently closes his mouth, " i suspect whoever did this also threatened him if he did tell. or threatened something he cared about. it's a typical tactic, the same one used to keep higher rank demons under control. Threaten those that they want to protect, and you keep those you could not otherwise control bent to your will. though that's speculation. there are other ways to break someone as well." she gently tucks some of Touhou's hair behind his ear. " i will tend to him and do all i can to see he recovers. And when he does, we can see about that tongue."

Takana nods, "please. And um I removed his collar just in case. Dad always seemed to know where he was so... in case it was the collar I didn't want him to know where touhou was. If... if this damage is all from my dad then... I don't want touhou to come back to the house. I know he said he didn't have any other home but... he'll be safer in a demon district. I don't want him hurting anymore...."

Nikiri sighs softly, "I'll uh... need to talk to you and takana about that...."

[Namari]

Korri nods, " we've taken in plenty of strays in our time, i will tell Arakan he was obtained from one of our... raids. best if you not know more about that. but he's not the first we've gotten who has been damaged like this, though this is particularly bad. He will be welcomed here." she looks at Nikiri, " before you get into that discussion, which i will need to be briefed on after, i need you to carry the boy to my clinic so i can finish his treatment and settle him in for the night." she removes the now empty iv bag from him and places a hand onto his back, a thin coating of frost covering his entire body. " there, he's in statis and safe to move."

Nikiri looks at korri and nods,  "of course. " He let's go of yori and pats him in the head before going over to touhou.

A brief moment of anxiety overwhelms takana as fresh tears falls from his face, "goodbye touhou.... don't die on arakans mom, okay? You deserve to be happy and healthy..."

Nikiri let's takana say goodbye before picking him up very gently

Korri looks at Takana for a moment, " i doubt this will be the last time you see him dear child." she grabs her bag and shifts, flying out and to her clinic.

Yori sits on the floor, not really sure what to do with himself.

Nikiri follows her out.

Takana sits and sniffles before wiping his eyes

Isabelle goes  over to takana and hums, "don't sit on the floor. Come on, let's sit on the chairs." She bends down to take takana's hand when her phone clatters to the floor from her pocket,  "oh shoot why is this-" she picks up her phone and her eyes widen,  "oh! That's right! When we originally going to try to get you out of your room I set my phone to record and it is still recording. "

Yori is still sitting on the floor, " great, more evidence of this nightmare..."

Korri takes Nikiri and Touhou to her clinic and gets the mouse settled  and works on treating him further, " you may go Nikiri, report to me what you learn."

Nikiri nods and heads back

Isabelle sighs,  "Yeah but it might have good information on it. "

Izanagi sits next to Takana on the floor, " im not mad you know. just... kinda hurt."

Takana hugs izanagi, "I'm sorry.... i... should have told you who I was... I was afraid my last name would make things worse since... it usually does. I didn't want to leave either. I want to keep being your roommate but...I doubt that's possible now. I really fucked up. "
