Takana nods and heads out the door, knowing izanagi will be behind him

kaeru bows to the manager before going over to Mina and hikari, "Um. can i follow you two until i get close to my shrine?"

Mina nods, "Of course! Cant let a pretty girl like me walk alone!"

Hikari rolls her eyes and looks at kaeru, "Ummmm kaeru, right?"

kaeru nods, "Yes! Kaeru, kaeru!"

Hikari sighs, "I'll make sure you get home safe."

the green haired girl nods and the three girls walk home together

Izanagi indeed hurries after Takana.

The other guy who is a new hire heads out alone.

The manager sees them all out before going to do paperwork.

Takana happily walks down the sidewalk, smiling at izanagi, "Was today a little easier?"

Izanagi nods, " yeah, it still went fast but it didn;t feel nearly as crazy. having the extra people did help."

[MissyLooni]

Takana chuckles, "thats good. a part of me-" he suddenly stops, his ears standing straight up as he suddenly feels something unsettling rush over him. He blinks and glances around the empty street, frowning. there wasnt anything out of the ordinary going on but for some reason red flags were going off like sirens in his head.

He sniffs the air before glancing at izanagi, "do you smell something weird?"

Izanagi blinks and sniffs the air, " kind of? what is that?"

Takana shudders and he takes a step back, "dude it reeks of sulfur. And im feeling really weird about this area."

Some shuffling can be heard from half a block ahead of them, humming soon following after

Izanagi pales and grabs Takana, yanking him into the nearest alley and quietly shushing him.

Takana yelps softly, "What are you doing?!"

A tall, pale demon steps out from around the corner, humming. his hair is as white as his skin and his overly long arms are covered in symbolic tattoos, "odddd...... i could have sworn i heard a couple of sweet, succulent voices nearby~"
His back is hunched over as he walks, his long arms causes the back of his hands to drag along the concrete as he walks although he doesnt even seem to notice

Izanagi quickly covers takana's mouth and shakes his head quickly, looking terrified.

Takana was about to say something but he hears the demons sickly, quiet voice and freezes

The demons keeps walking, his head lifts slightly, revealing that his two eye sockets are completely empty, "Come out... come out.... wherever you are...." he walks past the alley as he continues down the street, thankfully getting farther from the boys

Izanagi waits until the demon is long gone and quickly starts pulling Takana away from where the demon went, quickly scurrying home.

Takana doesn't argue, doesnt even talk, he just runs home with izanagi, scrambling into their apartment unit, panting and shaking in terror

Izanagi locked the door behind them and latches the chain, " oh gods... that was close..."

[MissyLooni]

Takana gasps and whines loudly, "The fuck was that?! What the fuck was that!?"
