Takana grins, "Im happy to be back."

She chuckles softly, " well Mina is certainly happy to have you back. im sure everyone else is as well. the other chef does his best, however business slowed down a bit without you cooking."

Takana hums softly, "well thankfully the potato soup is really easy to make. Just toss everything in and let time do the work really."

[Namari]

She nods, " tell me what ingredients to add to our order and i'll do my best to get them. that's become easier lately." she hums softly, " we even got some good looking ham last shipment, so feel free to use that."

Takana nods and smiles, "will do. I know Isabelle has been working extremely hard so I'm glad that's been paying off."

[Namari]

" it certainly has been. i can't remember a time when we've had such varied and fresh food. it's truly been a big change."

[MissyLooni]

Takana hums softly, "I feel bad that it's been that long but regardless of what circumstances brought me to live here I'm glad that I'm here. I can help however I can or find people who can help more."

[Namari]

She chuckles softly, " well even if things stay as they are now, it's been a vast improvement. i see life in peoples eyes, and sometimes, hope. it helps make each day easier."

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods, "it's nice for sure. Some people are less cranky as well. Even hikari has started saying good morning instead of just rolling her eyes at me."

[Namari]

She nods, " good, i know she can be tricky to deal with sometimes. life is hard here, it affects all of those who grew up here, which is pretty much everyone."

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods a little, "Yeah I know everyone who lives here has trauma of some kind... she just always seemed so... hostile and pessimistic so I won't lie, I had been a bit worried about her. Are her parents mean or something?"

[Namari]

The manager winces, " no, but then it's difficult for those who have left this world to be mean. She lost both of her parents about a year ago, humans. so... she has some very understandable trauma she deals with over that. i do the best i can to watch over her, but she tries to be independent, and it's really not my place to get in the way of that."

[MissyLooni]

Takana pales and frowns, "o-oh... oh geez I'm sorry to hear that... I mean really odd like to tell her that but I'm sure she might get upset knowing how she is."

[Namari]

The manager sighs, " i don;t think she'd want to feel pitied, especially considering you didn;t grow up here. It's unfortunate she lost both parents at the same time, but few are those in the district who have not lost someone they knew."

Takana nods a little, frowning, "was it... during an inspection?"
