Izanagi snorts, " maybe where you live. humans hold guns in our faces all the time here. regardless, you just sat there and insulted someone who in comparison, was holding a gun to your face. and you were egging him on. i expected you to die, seriously."

Takana pouts, "I didnt say anything though! He was the one that rudely called me over."

Nikiri calmly watches the two interact

Izanagi raises an eyebrow, " he called you over to check on your collar, and you said 'yeah?' in the most rude tone. you shouldn't use a tone like that with any customer, let alone him! you kept saying things to make him angry, and when he finally was losing his temper you, and i quote, said 'Alright i get it, despite having ice powers you literally cant chill.' are you serious? he's already angry and you were literally asking for him to get more so despite the fact that he, pretty nicely might i add, told you that your tone was disrespectful and that you should fix that. He's earned the right to be respected, in any other district the higher rank demons would have gotten pissed well before that!"

"I was still mad at him for just pulling me out of work yesterday! How dare he! I just want to do my job and not be bothered. "

Izanagi raises an eyebrow, " oh no, how dare he pull you from work with our managers permission to get you a collar that isn't going to fuck up your neck and get you papers that didn't exist so that you don't get shot for not being in the system."

Takana grumbles, "i would have appreciated being asked. Its the principal of the matter..."

Izanagi huffs, " so because he did something nice without asking nicely that means be an ass to him from then on? "

"How was i supposed to know he was doing anything nice for me when i had no clue what he wanted?! Nothing was explained!"

Izanagi snorts, " if you try to tell me you didn't realize that he was doing something for your benefit until just now, I'm going to slap you. "

Takana rolls his eyes, "of course i figured it out afterwards and not just now. But im still mad i wasnt told to begin with."

Izanagi growls, " so you were an ass to him today because he didn't say ' in taking you out of work to be nice to you're yesterday?! That's ridiculous. "

Takana huffs, "Im mad because I didnt have any input in the matter! Im not a child and im no servant of all things."

Izanagi makes a rude noise, " welcome to the demon district. here, nobody gets input in most matters. like having to work our asses off for minimal pay to afford expensive ass collars that you have to have otherwise the humans kill you. get used to taking orders and not having a say, that's how things go around here."

Takana stops briefly in confusion, "wai- what? What do you mean pay? They're supposed to be free since they're mandatory."

Izanagi snorts, " well the old one i gave you was free, but only the big clunky ones that pinch and chafe are free. anything that's remotely comfortable isn't. so... either be constantly in pain and discomfort, or fork over big bucks."
