Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

Nikiri huffs, becoming quite annoyed by the persistence of the bickering. He closes the box and sets it aside huffing at Izanagi, "you catch more flies with honey than vinegar my dear."

He sticks his tongue out before plopping onto a couch with a few tears in it, he'd gotten it for free at the dump!

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs and looks down before going back to making food.

Nikiri tsks and shakes his head, "If it helps ease the tension I can always just have the human live with me nagi."

[Namari]

Izanagi blinks, " im not sure that would improve things, plus i kinda need the rent... though i suppose if he's with you more you'll have more time to work on him, i don;t want you to get into trouble with Arakan."

[MissyLooni]

nikiri waves his hand, "Im not concerned with arakan."

takana looks over at nikiri, frowning, "Why the heck are you even doing all of this for me? It's not like I could ever come up with a way to repay you."

Nikiri shrugs, "I have my reasons."

[Namari]

Izanagi shudders, " im always concerned about Arakan..." he looks at Takana, " well you could start by making it less difficult. where's that desire to repay Arakan back? He did good things for you too."

[MissyLooni]

Takana scowls, "I dont really like arakan so clearly that wont be happening."

Nikiri's face drops, clearly believing another mini spat is on its way. he'd be here all night at this rate, "Nagi dont respond to that." he pulls the ears out and goes over to takana and gently places them on his head, "turn to me please."

Takana blinks, hearing the please and turns to face nikiri directly.

the demon makes sure the ears are aligned perfectly before gently taking the cord and placing the end piece at the dip in the back of the head where the neck begins, "you may feel a pinch."

the end piece of the cord extends with sharp clips, quickly digging and attaching itself to the nerves in takana's neck.

Takana yelps and flinches, trying to reach back to grab the cord but nikiri grabs his arms, "THATS NOT A PINCH! Ouch! Fuck it hurts!!"

Izanagi had his mouth open to retort when Nikiri tells him not to, grumbling but subsiding to cross his arms on the couch. he winces though when Takana yelps.

[MissyLooni]

Takana whimpers softly and sniffs as the pain ebbs. He shudders and his head feels weird.

Nikiri let's go of takana's arms and checks the back, smiling when he doesnt see anything,  followed by no signs of a headband on top,  "alright.  It's in. " he gives a gentle tug and nods when they don't come off. "Perfect."

Takana shudders and the ears twitch unbeknownst to him,  "it's done? That really fucking hurt..."

[Namari]

Izanagi chuckles, " well it probably hurts less than being killed would... they look great." he gets up and walks over, poking at the ears.

[MissyLooni]

When izanagi pokes an ear it flicks and both ears move back, giving away that takana was getting annoyed at having them touched.

Nikiri nods and smiles, "they seem to also be registering your emotions correctly so thats good too." He pulls the ring out of the box and gently slides it on to takana's pinky since it fits there, "there. You will be able to take them off as long as you are wearing this."

Takana glances at the ring on his hand before sighing, "thanks...."

Izanagi grins, " not fair that you get Nikiri to give you a ring before meeeeee. on a more serious note, maybe you should leave the ring someplace safe? if you lose it you'll never be able to take those off."

[MissyLooni]

Takana blushes when izanagi makes the comment and he looks at the ring curiously, "where though? I could honestly lose it anywhere..."

[Namari]

Izanagi hums, " im not sure, but i'd be worried about taking it out and around. it'd be safer here i'd think."

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods, "yeah if it at least stays here then i'll know its here..." he sighs softly and looks at nikiri, "thank you... for doing this.... "

Nikiri chuckles, "its alright. You're just lucky that i have been around humans long enough to know that their government tells them as little information as possible."

Takana blinks and frowns, "what?"

Nikiri waves his hand dismissively, "dont worry about it. You should probably go back to cooking though."

Takana's ears perk up and he nods, "you're right! Dinner! Sorry!" He quickly turns and starts going back to preparing vegetables
