Izanagi snorts, " sure. he'll probably sleep today since demons tend to do bad things more at night. plus he's not in charge of us all, that's his dad. he's just taking over some of the responsibility and preparing for when he eventually does."

Takana pouts, "i dont know this stuff. Im trying okay?"

[Namari]

Izanagi nods, " sorry sorry. i just find it entertaining you worry about him so much when you hate him so much."

[MissyLooni]

Takana starts cleaning up the mess, sighing, "i can hate people all i want but it doesnt mean i wouldnt care about them..."

[Namari]

Izangi quickly finishes his pancakes, " that's an interesting way to view things."

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, "Its just how I see it... but ive been wrong before clearly..."

[Namari]

Izanagi sighs, " it's complicated sometimes. anyway...hows the reading thingy going?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana shrugs,  "about as well as reading has always been for me. Ive gotten through a few chapters but... admittedly im having a hard time grasping at some of the information. "

[Namari]

Izanagi tilts his head, " i don't read much, but what are you having trouble with?"

[MissyLooni]

"I guess it just feels like a big he said, she said kind of thing. I mean,  yeah i took the information that i was taught at face value and believed it because i only had that information but now i dont know if i believe my history or your guy's..."

[Namari]

Izanagi rubs the back of his neck, " well that's how it is most of the time isn't it? usually the history that's widely known is the one written by the victors. doesn't mean it's true. i couldn't really tell you if either is true, i just know what my parents told me, though we're not really supposed to talk about it. it wasn;t super long ago, find an older demon and they can probably give you a first hand accounting. if they'll talk anyway, like i said, not really supposed to talk about it."

Takana frowns and looks at izanagi, "Why not?"

[Namari]

Izanagi blinks, " ah... well i guess i never thought about it much. probably so we don't rebel or something? i just know that if word reaches any of the humans that any demon has been talking about it, usually that demon gets removed from that district. they say they transfer them but... that just doesn't make much sense. we've never had a demon moved here for something like that that i've ever known."

[MissyLooni]

Takana pales slightly and he looks uncomfortable, "so... its because of the humans that you dont talk about it...."

[Namari]

Izanagi nods, " yeah... it's not so bad? not like it's a topic many of us like to get into. um, was there anything else?"
