The husband nods at the manager, "Of course. thank you so much for keeping our little girl safe."

The mom continues to soothe and console her daughter.

She bows, " you may thank Nikiri for stepping in. I was unable to do much. Regardless, take her home and enjoy your days off Mina. take care of yourself." she takes the bloody mop into the back and gets to work cleaning it out.

Izanagi goes and gets a Chai tea since he knows that's a favorite of Nikiri's, bringing it to the deers table, " here..."

both parents give nikiri their thanks before leaving with Mina

Nikiri blinks and looks over at izanagi. He cant help but give a soft smile, going over to the small demon, "Heavens I didnt mean to let my temper get the best of me. I may have been still upset when that pest mocked my family. Can you ever forgive me?" he tried to sound like he was teasing since he wanted nagi to cheer up a bit

Izanagi blinks, " It's alright, i know it's a lot to have to step in and do things like that. im grateful you were here. Im sorry that i annoyed you."

nikiri chuckles and shakes his head, "No need to apologize. you're not in trouble. I just want you two to get along."

Izanagi huffs " he was gonna be suicidal!"

"I know.  And i will have my own talk with him later as his guard, but you both need to get along before it causes serious problems."

Izanagi looks properly chastised, " alright alright. i'll go make nice. is there anything you need?"

nikiri pecks izanagi on the forehead, "Just for you to stay safe. I have an awful feeling that this was only the beginning."

Izanagi blinks, " you think there's gonna be more?"

Nikiri digs in his pocket and pulls out the charm, "these things usually dont come off my dear. The last time a warding charm fell it was one from my fathers antlers. No more than a week later we went to war against the humans. For mine to just fall off now makes me nervous. "

Izanagi's eyes widen, " i hope that's not the case... you don't think it has anything to do with the thing with Takana do you? is it really gonna be another war?"

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri sighs, "I am unsure but regardless I do plan on seeing my father some time to discuss matters with him and get his perspective."

[Namari]

Izanagi nods, looking nervous, " i really hope that won;t be it."

The manager looks out, " Izanagi, there orders waiting to go out."

He jumps, " ah, sorry, i gotta get back to work." he scurries off.

Nikiri puts the charm back in his pocket before going over to his table and sitting down, sighing. He blinks when he realizes his forgotten chai and he hums as he picks it up and sips it. it had gone cold but not surprisingly it was still good.

Takana goes back and starts the kitchen back up for the orders.
