Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

takana snorts, "He aint gonna kill me. Not today at least. besides its not like im going make make a bomb or anything. "

[Namari]

Kaiten snorts and keeps walking until they get to the apartment, setting the toolbox onto the table.

Yori looks nervous, whispering, " he's scary."

[MissyLooni]

takana nods, "He gotta be. he protects. but he also attacks." he goes over to the tool box and opens it up. the toolbox was stuffed with wires, a soldering toolkit, circuit boards, and a mess of other metals and tools.

He looks at the toolbox longingly and sighs, "Just as i remembered it smelling..."

[Namari]

Yori blinks and frowns, he really wanted to ask Takana how he could live around these demons but that was obviously a bad idea. " maybe we can go into your room?"

Kaiten sits on the couch, looking bored.

Takana blinks, "Sure." he takes yori's hand and leads him to his room

[Namari]

Yori closes the door behind them and lets out a breath, " how can you do it?! those are actual real life demons!  we gotta get you out of here before they kill you." he looks worried.

[MissyLooni]

takana's ears move back and he frowns, "I am working on it but they arent going to kill me."

[Namari]

Yori blinks, " well yeah, they don't know you're a human. but you literally live with a demon. Takana we gotta get you out of here. did you forget about all the things they say the demons used to do before we got them to stop murdering people and whatever? this is no place for us."

[MissyLooni]

takana sighs, "The only killing i have seen around here is the guards murdering a father in front of his entire family and all of us."

[Namari]

Yori blinks and frowns, " did he... threaten them or something? im sure there was a good reason."

[MissyLooni]

Takana shakes his head, "Apparently they have an inspection once a month to make sure the collars are working and if they are not then the demon gets executed on the spot. but... apparently one of the kids and the dads collar broke at the same time and they couldnt afford to replace both so they were waiting on his next paycheck. the mother was begging them to give them a chance but that didnt matter. I honestly wouldnt have believed it if i didnt see it myself but it happened...I thought the collars were supposed to be free. Dad said since they are required that they would be free but they arent and they are stupid expensive. everything here seems to have an upcharge and its not great quality. So when i do get back im asking dad some questions. He shouldnt lie to me like that."

[Namari]

Yori frowns, " you must have misunderstood something. It's a good thing they make sure the collars are working though, can you imagine if they weren't?  anyway you can;t ask dad anything from here anyway, so we gotta get you out regardless."

[MissyLooni]

Takana shakes his head,  "you werent there. I just... i cant find any justifications for the guards to kill a father. Thats not helping the fact that demons don't like humans. "

[Namari]

Yori sighs, " okay, even if you are right you still can't talk to dad from here. we need to get you out so you can ask him the questions you have to figure things out."

Takana nods, "yeah that was the plan. But its nearly impossible for a demon to go to the human district unless it is for work in which its mainly E rank demons. "
