Arakan leans back and allows them to banter back and forth for awhile. " well, i think for now that's about as much as we can do. can i perhaps count on your aid again?" he looks at Curtis.

curtis looks at arakan and sighs, "i... depending on what you need and how uh... this thing we're attempting to do now. if it goes well for both parties then i will be more inclined to assist in what i can."

Arakan nods, " i will not ask anything unreasonable. lets get you back to the gate before the other guards do anything rash." he adds the last part dryly and gets up, heading back out of the shop and towards the gates.

takana follows arakan

Curtis heads to the gate, noting how his men looked relieved to see him

Arakan stops a ways back, to avoid making anyone more nervous than needed. " returned safe and sound. Takana, it's still early, you could work today if you wanted to, otherwise i did get you the day off if you'd like to use it another way."

Curtis glances at Takana before heading back to his men, talking to them quietly

takana blinks and looks at arakan, "Ah... im not really sure what id even do honestly. there's not much i can do here so i might go to work..."

Arakan watches Curtis and his men for a few minutes, " well, the choice is yours. if there were things you needed to get, i know you haven't had time off so this may be a good chance to purchase things you need."

takana sighs, "Well if you have no problem taking me to the grocery store i would appreciate that. we do need groceries."

[Namari]

Arakan nods, " we can do that. i presume we need to head back to the apartment for your wallet and such?"

[MissyLooni]

takana nods, "Yeah. I havent done anything to deserve sugar daddy treatment yet so i have to pay my own way for now." he chuckles at his own joke

Arakan snorts softly, " if we get this to even halfway work, i will be deeply indebted to you."

takana glances at arakan as he heads home, "Oh yeah? well i'll try not to get my hopes up then."

Arakan snorts, " don't let it go to your head too much." he follows to the apartment, going in and waiting. Izanagi was already gone, having headed to work.

takana goes to his room and grabs his wallet. he goes back to arakan, "got it. ready?"

Arakan nods, " yep, i think we got some shipments in a couple days ago so hopefully you can get everything you want. it's always kind of a gamble." he grimaces and heads out of the apartment, going to where there were several shops that sold food.
