Izanagi blinks and looks at him, " i don;t really get how getting one human here is gonna help with any of that."

takana sighs, "You dont know who isabelle is so you dont know what ties she has but just her coming here safely and shopping a little bit is a door being open to encourage other humans to shop here, thus bringing money in for you guys."

Izanagi blinks and frowns, " is that... safe? humans don;t like us... i know if Arakan is on board he can keep other high rank demons in line, but if a human attacks one of us, the lower rank, that's gonna start a chain reaction."

Takana sighs, "right now its only isabelle and she wouldnt hurt a fly. if that even goes over well then there would be strict rules that Curtis agreed to enforce on the humans side. This is an opportunity to make a bridge between the both sides and hopefully avoid a war. Arakan seems to think a war is going to happen regardless of what we do so hopefully this will keep one at bay. But we havent even gotten that far yet, its a bit of a touch and go plan at the moment. But if she can come here to shop im hoping for her to come by the cafe. She loves tea and coffee and she misses me so..." takana shrugs

Izanagi hums, " well i suppose if that's how things are it's worth a try. have you talked to her yet?"

Takana sighs, "I sent her a text, explaining the proposal while ensuring her safety however i dont expect a reply within the next day or so. she is going to have to convince her husband to let her come here since he is.... not the greatest. if she can word it in a way where he would come on top and benefit from this more than the demons here then he'd allow it."

Izanagi wrinkles his nose, " sounds like a piece of work."

Takana nods, "oh trust me. he's a real ass."

Izanagi tilts his head, " but then if this woman is so great, why would she marry him?"

Takana snorts, "Apparently he was a lot better before. a gentleman if you will. That and her father was a man who was hard to please so to finally hear him like her boyfriend and not scare him off was the deciding factor apparently."

Izanagi hums, " weird."

Takana shakes his head,  "you're telling me."

Izanagi sighs, " really though, even if it wasn;t a waste of time, it was certainly a wasted opportunity..."

Izanagi grumbles, " being alone all day with Arakan! yeah you got some important stuff done but that was a perfect chance for a trip to bone town!"
