Takana frowns but nods, "I see. I know you said you don't drink coffee but if you need any let me know. I know I'll make some for arakan and i." He gets the coffee pot going

Izanagi nods, " i think i'll take some. lots of cream and sugar please."

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods and grabs 3 mugs from the cupboard, "good to know. While I wait I'll make breakfast. Something light today I think. I feel like maybe you won't be able to keep much down."

[Namari]

Izanagi nods, " im not really hungry, but i'll try to eat something."

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods, "a light broth maybe? With some toast?"

[Namari]

Izanagi sighs, " maybe? i'll try to eat it."

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods and starts to get cooking, "it'll be the best thing to barf up if you can't keep it down."

Izanagi makes a face, " i guess so."

[MissyLooni]

takana chuckles and when the coffee beeps takana grabs some cream and sugar from the fridge, making an overly sweet concoction just like izanagi asked for, "Alright here's your sweet cream with a dash of coffee for ya." There was more than just a dash of coffee in the mug clearly but it was an amount that a child would enjoy soooooo close enough. he pushes the mug towards izanagi

Izanagi takes it and sips at it, sighing softly and not even caring that the other is teasing him.

Arakan groans softly and sits up, hair sticking every which way and the blanket hanging off one of his horns.

[MissyLooni]

Takana's ears perk up when he hears arakan groan and he looks over, "oh. You don't look great. Not that you've taken care of yourself at all with all of this shit going on." He pours arakan a mug of coffee before going over to him and handing the mug over, "here."

[Namari]

Arakan takes the mug, " couldn;t help it, wouldn;t have gotten it done otherwise."

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods, "I know. And I know so many are really appreciative of your efforts. And that's not sarcasm. I really do believe that you've gone above and beyond keeping your people as safe as possible."

[Namari]

Arakan chuckles a little and lifts a hand to ruffle Takana's hair and ears, " that's the thing you still don't quite get, this isn't above and beyond, this is just how things work. this is how a leader of demons should behave, doing whatever is needed for their people."

[MissyLooni]

It only happens for a second, but Takana does initially lean into arakans hand, his lips slightly twitching up into a smile.
He quickly corrects this though, very quickly and he pulls back, his ears flatten and his face turns bright red in embarrassment, "a-ah you say that but I'm sure there are other districts where the leaders are not as proactive as you are. A-at any rate drink your damn coffe."
