Karim's eyes narrow, " pardon, but are you implying that fashion is a female only industry."

Arakan stays the hell back and out of this. he'd step in if need be, but only if it got out of hand.

Takana looks at karim, "No, idols are not fashion. Idols sing and model and dance and only try their best to enchant those who will listen to them so they can spend their hard earned money. That has nothing to do with the fashion industry."

Isabelle places her hand on her cheek as she starts to daydream, "it was only a few years ago but you got so caught up in singing and dancing and it was so cute."

Karim snorts softly, " very well."

Arakan looks away, hiding his amusement at the sassy Takana who gave him so much trouble getting some back.

Takana crosses his arms and looks away, his face bright red, "Im not wearing it."

Isabelle stares at Takana for a few minutes before huffing. she looks at Karim, "I do know his measurements so if you can make this outfit fit those measurements I'll buy this."

Karim nods, " with ease. if you give me them and give me ten minutes i can have it done."

Isabelle nods and pulls out her phone and quickly goes through her notes before finding the file containing takana's measurements, showing karim, "here, you can borrow this if need be while i look through more clothes for myself." she holds out her phone and the outfit

takana damn near chokes a bit from shock, jaw dropped, "WHY d you still have my measurements!?"

Isabelle hums, "I never deleted the file. I even forgot it was on there for a while until now."

Takana whips his head to look at Arakan, "please tell me you're not going to just allow this to happen?!"

Karim takes the phone and the outfit, " please enjoy looking through my wares." he moves to the back of the shop where his tools are and quickly gets to work.


Arakan glances at Takana and raises an eyebrow, " and risk displeasing the most important human that may come here? not a chance. you are not being harmed, therefore there is no reason for me to intervene."

Isabelle looks at Takana, bringing her hands together and up to her chest, "please Takana? Just this one time? It's been so long since I felt like i was having fun. You and yori are the only two nice people in that whole household."

Takana's ears go back and he looks to the side, groaning softly, "just.... this once.... Just dont make me sing and dance though."

Isabelle smiles and nods, "of course i wouldnt! This is hardly a stage for it anyway." she hugs Takana, "Thank you so much!" she pauses briefly, looking a bit more serious, "I am glad to see you by the way. I know today is all about me helping this district and your friends but I had been terrified by your disappearance. I thought of the worse constantly, especially when i went to stop by your apartment only to find your things packed up..."

Takana blinks and hums softly, "Yeah yori told me you saved some of my stuff... Do you know how much? Yori cant bring over boxes through the gate so he could only bring a limited amount."

Isabelle pulls away from the hug and brings a hand up to her chin as she thinks, "most of your notebooks and folders. some of your bedding...your consoles and games.... Your mother's cookbook i found in the trash for some odd reason but i grabbed that too. i wasnt surprised by the thought of the Misses to go through your things and throw it away since i knew you wouldnt have tossed something so important to you. Although I can only assume it was someone in that family." she did her best to keep things vague enough as instructed by yori

Takana's eyes light up, "Mom's cookbook!?" then he scowls, "it was... in the trash? Christ... at least it wasnt burned. And thank you. I'm sure you're.... hiding my stuff to keep it safe?"

Isabelle nods, "Yes my art room. It's the only door in the house that is locked so it should stay safe in there."

Takana nods and sighs happily, "I wont lie. everything i make at the cafe comes from that cookbook but it is very limited since i cant remember all of the recipes. If i had that book in my hands I know I could really pump out some amazing dishes."

Isabelle drools a little, "Your mother made the best stuffed peppers. It was spicy, but the filled to the bring with meat and cheese and they were so easy to eat since you could just pick up the pepper so you didnt have to focus too much on getting cutlery cleaned~"

Takana chuckles, "Right. the peppers. She said your peppers were always the best to use with the dish."

Isabelle giggles, "well when I found out how tasty her food was I wanted to contribute as much as possible so i started to garden and ended up realizing i was very good at it and every year I had taught myself to do something even better for the plants to grow tastier. Even now I keep my gardens going because they make me think of your mom."

Takana nods, "I'm sure if she was here now she would love to hear that. Now, go shopping. You're starting to make me hungry."

Isabelle giggles again and nods, "Yes of course! sorry, got a little sidetracked. i just really do miss you." She goes back to the clothing rack and keeps looking through some things

Arakan listens to exchange, frowning a little. It sounded like for the most part Takana had had things fairly good there, and his mother had been used as a sort of maid perhaps, a servant for sure as well as being bred for their project. At the mention of spicy stuffed peppers he blinks, usually peppers had to be cut up to save the edible parts, but if they were fresh... he could see how they could be stuffed. it was a delicious sounding item, and he swallows a few times to get rid of the saliva  that pools at the thought of something like that. He looks out the window, trying to seem uninterested.

Karim soon comes back over, the outfit looking gorgeous in his hands, " this has been fitted to the measurements i was given." he holds her phone out to her in one of his four hands, still on the screen where the measurements are, " and your phone."

Isabelle looks at Karim and smiles, bowing a little, "thank you very much!" She takes her phone, "also, there's this blue dress here, it is very beautiful. You wouldn't mind if I tried it, would you?"

Karim turns and takes the dress down, " of course you may. anything in the store, you are welcome to try on. we have changing rooms right there. of course it's more to see how the color suits you as it will be fitted to you if you decide to purchase it, but regardless." he waves a hand at the small sectioned off area for privacy.

Isabelle nods and takes takana's hand

takana blinks, "why did you grab my hand?"

Isabelle smiles, "You agreed to wear the outfit so i might as well have you do that now. juuust to make sure."

Takana sighs and lets himself be dragged to the fitting rooms

Karim watches them go, " please leave my fitting rooms in the same clean state you find them in."

while the others cant see anything, there IS quite a bit of giggling from isabelle and after a few minutes the curtains open to show a very dressed up, and annoyed Takana

isabelle smiles and excitedly claps her hands, "See? You look so good!! You always pulled off these outfits so much better than anyone i know~"

Takana even had his hair tied in twin ponytails, eye twitching a little, "...thanks..."

Arakan glances over and then quickly looks away, barely managing to hide his amusement.

Karim doesn't bother, grinning, " well well, the pink haired one pulls off a dress quite nicely. As for you... that blue dress looks absolutely stunning on you. If only we were able to obtain some finer products, i've seen how gemstones glitter on clothing, and i could make something truly magnificent." he sighs softly. " i will have to try and trade for some shells, abalone at least does provide some lovely accents. regardless, you wear that extremely well. would you like me to fit it to you?"
