Takana gets up, "I'll make you both curry." he heads to the kitchen to start cooking

Isabelle nods, "You are absolutely right. Humans dont understand. And unless something directly affects them, they dont care to understand. Thats why we must make them understand but not in the way they would expect you to. Kill them with kindness is a saying that I lean towards. Show them through example that what they are told and taught has always been a lie. I have some friends that already dont trust the government for their own reasons so if i can have them be some of the humans that start to shop here then they'll more than likely be more receptive to the idea that demons are not their enemy. They'll take it as another thing the government has lied about and hopefully that will be the snowball effect needed. But that can come later. right now its just a fun shopping day with some gardening 101." she closes her menu and hands it to izanagi, "sorry for looking this over for so long. I tend to be pretty indecisive sometimes but I do enjoy both tea and coffee so maybe if i could just have whatever is the barista's specialty? Or anything she really likes to make." she smiles at izanagi. Anything amazing she could taste at the cafe is something she can tell others in order for the place to get more traction.

Mina is hanging out by the counter, waiting for some drinks. she glances nervously over at izanagi's table before looking at Hikari, keeping her voice low, "This is so weird. Having a human here? what do you think she wants?"

Hikari glares at Mina, obviously having an issue with a human in her cafe, "Maybe she'll find someone else's parents to kill."

Mina gasps softly, "Really?? Why is she even here?? ??"

Izanagi shakes his head, " take whatever time you need. i'll see what she suggests." he bounces over to Hikari, " she wants whatever tea or coffee you suggest as the best."

Arakan sighs, " the tricky thing is we'll need to have a heavy guard on the areas humans are permitted in if they do start coming here. Many have lost family or friends to the humans, your kind are not popular. Many accept it as the way things are and keep their heads down, but do not be surprised if some see all of you as the enemy."

Hikari glares at izanagi and hisses softly, "How about i suggest she leave? how about that?"

Mina frowns, "as much as i prefer that as well im sure arakan and the manager would be very upset if you were rude to his guest......even if it is a scary human."

Isabelle nods, "Thats only natural. Even if our plan is somewhat successful and there is more of a.... mix in cultures there will always be those who think the other is the enemy. It will most certainly be the worst at the start since there is still so much hurt that hasnt had the time to heal. Takana has.... briefly mentioned some of the things that happen here on a regular basis and I was.... disturbed to say the least. The war may have ended and we humans had our time to heal, you and your people... didnt have the chance to heal. Your war is still going. And humans dont deserve the kindness of you opening your doors to them first."

Izanagi frowns, " If you want to oppose Arakan in his will to have her here and be treated well, be my guest, but im not getting in the middle of that."

Arakan nods, " Well unless something changes, there will be death, and a great deal of it. i won't stand back and watch my people be slaughtered. I've already had to do far too much of that already... It has to end, one way or another. This is the peaceful path, it's worth trying."

Hikari deflates a little, grumbling, "Fine. then i'll poison her tea. she'll still have a 'good' time until she goes home."

Mina's tail tucks between her legs a little, "Aww but aint she apparently takana's friend or something? And she is kinda pretty. Plus if she dies while being here then that'll be a big problem on our hands, right?"

Isabelle nods, "I would prefer avoiding a war as well."

Izanagi's eyes widen, " Hikari, you know i can;t let you do that. do i need to go tell Arakan what you're saying?"

hikari hesitates a little before sighing, "I- I wont... hurt her. but only out of respect for arakan. But im not about to play nice with her if she tries to talk to me. She is a monster and no one can convince me otherwise." she starts preparing the coffee

Izanagi hesitates, then nods, " alright... i won;t tell him. please don;t make me regret it."


Arakan sips his coffee, " war would solve nothing and bring a great deal of death. even if we won, which we might have a chance this time, one thing the humans don;t realize is putting us in these districts has brought us together and forced us to cooperate, where we preferred smaller communities before. Anyway, even if we win, most demons will want to force humans into the districts as was done to us, or kill them off. neither will really work, our society isn;t built like yours, things would go south quickly. well, we'd survive, but there wouldn;t be civilization as you know it now."

[MissyLooni]

Hikari pouts, "As much as I would rather kill her, doing it here would not be good for manager either..." she continues making the best damn latte of her life.

Isabelle nods, "I would appreciate avoiding a war as well. Even if the humans win somehow I would prefer to not go through such a thing. I do wish I had a bit more pull but unfortunately all i am good for is money and knowledge. Thankfully, that is what you need at the moment. I hope i can be of more use further down the line."

[Namari]

Arakan snorts, " your influence is more valuable than your money, that's what we need right now. though the knowledge will help as well." He frowns and looks over to the drink station, it was taking an oddly long time for her drink...

Hikari finishes the drink and places the cup on izanagi's tray, "Here. take this to her."

Isabelle gives a soft smile and nods, "I do hope my knowledge helps. I'll certainly enjoy feeling more useful here then back home."

Arakan nods, " well, so far it seems to be useful. we'll see how it goes."

Izanagi nods and carries the drink over and carefully sets it in front of Isabella, " sorry for the wait, enjoy!"

Arakan looks hard at Izanagi for a long moment, trying to determine if something was off, before dismissing it.

Isabelle smiles at izanagi, "Thank you very much." she looks down at her cup and she cant help but giggle, "its been a long time since I had art on my cup. its so cute. Your barista must be very talented to be able to make this."

[Namari]

Izanagi bows to her, " she is indeed talented at her job. please don't hesitate to ask me if you want anything." he turns and flounces over to another customer that just came in.

Isabelle brings the cup to her lips and starts taking small sips, being careful not to drink too quickly since its still hot, "mm its quite delicious."
