Kahana frowns and takes the slices off her eyes, sitting up, " Makoto? What's the matter? yes im sitting, what could possibly be so bad though?"

[MissyLooni]

"Remember when we allowed isabelle her little fun a few days ago? Figured that calming any rumors of another war and hopefully also gaining a bit more trust out of those monsters before the microchip debut was worth letting her go into the district? Well I was just reading the paper today and there is a picture of her going into her limo afterwards and in the background you can clearly see Takana. Not only is that damn bastard alive but he is also standing awfully close to the districts ice prince as well. The old man isn't up yet, is he? If he gets Takana back in his life then that will put a major kink in my plans."

[Namari]

" What?! That little brat... there? He's still asleep thankfully, i'll have to think of something to keep him from watching the news. oh this is awful." she takes a deep breath to calm herself, " i'll destroy that part of the newspaper. thankfully he mostly reads the business section and sports so he probably won't notice. if i keep him occupied today i can keep him from watching the news. if we play this right the debut can still go off without a hitch."

Makoto sighs softly, "Still asleep... okay good... i have a meeting today with the scientists involved with the microchip so i can see how far they are and hopefully see if i can push the project to go faster. So then i have another issue. the fact that Isabelle must have clearly known that Takana has been in the demon district which would explain why she even asked to go there. What on earth do i even do about this? This feels like a direct betrayal."

Kahana hums softly, " promise bonuses to try and speed it up, get them to work overtime. that should speed things up. As for Isabelle... that is worrisome. perhaps if i take her and my dear husband on a vacation to keep them out of the way for awhile? I think i'll call some of the news stations and pull some strings to get them to stop showing that clip."

[MissyLooni]

Makoto nods, "that's a good idea. Keep them both away until we can smooth this whole thing over. Personally I wouldn't mind if the demons knew takana wasn't one of them. Those freaks would kill him in a heartbeat and we wouldn't have to deal with him anymore. But if the news broke out over it then our plan would also be fucked over."

[Namari]

Kahana sighs, " a tempting proposal, but as you said it could cause trouble. best wait for that little information slip until after the plan is completed. then we can have the monsters deal with that little bundle of trouble for us. I'll start planning a cruise, perhaps i'll take Yori with as well, he's been behaving oddly lately. Can you manage things without me while i keep them out of the way?"

[MissyLooni]

"Of course my lovely mother. I don't know what I would do without you helping me. "

[Namari]

Kanaha snorts softly, " there's no need to lay it on that thickly my dearest. alright, i'll get to work on the press and setting up this cruise. you focus on incentivizing those workers to get that thing done faster. call me if anything comes up."

[MissyLooni]

"Yes of course mother. Thank you again. I mean it.  He hangs up the phone, his face grimacing as he glances at the newspaper article again.
"My own fucking wife betray me." He emphasizes the word 'fucking' by chucking his phone against the wall, the smart device immediately shattering on impact.
He takes a minute, two even, to breathe in and out before opening his desk drawer and pulling out another identical phone.
Walking over to the remains of his old device he pulls out the sim card and micro sd chip, putting them in the new phone and turning it on.
He'll have someone clean this mess up while he is in his meeting.
Speaking of which, he checks to make sure his phone is functioning as it should before leaving his office.

Takana happily heads to work, chatting with izanagi as they walk.

Kahana sighs as she hangs up, calling up some of the news stations and laying on a sickly sweet tone and offering absurd amounts of money for them to take the clips down to avoid any social backlash for her poor daughter in law Isabelle. Once that's dealt with she quickly starts arranging a cruise for herself her husband Yori and Isabelle, getting everything set so they'd leave in a few days.

Izanagi chatters happily back.

Kaiten trails behind, keeping an eye on the two.

Shiro sends arakan a text that simply says, 'the 3rd spy came back to our district.'

Takana enters the cafe and goes to the back to get his apron on and to start getting food prepped

Arakan glances at the text and sighs, pocketing his phone before he gets back to work, directing those with a tiny amount of carpentry skill to build planters on the roof.

Izanagi changes into his uniform and starts getting the cafe ready to open.

[MissyLooni]

Nikiri happily enters the cafe and waits for izanagi to serve him.

Mina and kaeru finish up getting plates ready and doing any last minute prepping.

Hikari checks the coffee machines and nods in approval as everything is at perfect temp

Izanagi bounces over when he sees Nikiri, " Hey~"


The manager opens the cafe after checking that everything is ready, letting the general public in.
