Topic: To Cross That Line (Namari x Missylooni)

Izanagi soon comes out of his room when the smell of cooking food fills the air, " mmmmm, i hope you're sharing. so, how does it feel to finally have our watch outside of the apartment? whatcha gonna do if Arakan comes at night? i know you'll share your bed with him instead of kicking him out."

[MissyLooni]

Takana blushes, "I don't want to start hearing your teasing so early. Yes I'll feed you but no questions about arakan."

[Namari]

Izanagi rolls his eyes, " okay, but it was less of teasing and more of a legit question. wasn;t there some problems with the ears?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana huffs, "arakan is polite to let me know beforehand if he's spending the night. And if he chooses to do so then I'll leave the ears on."

[Namari]

Izanagi shrugs, " okay. just be careful." he plops himself down at the table.

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs, "believe me I am trying.... I'm not sure how much longer I can keep this up anyway. I don't want to think about it but I got a text from my little brother that our dad apparently has been worried to death about where I am and if I'm okay. Yori says I should send him a letter to just let him know I'm okay but like.... I don't really want to."

Izanagi blinks, " do you not like your father?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana's ears move back and he plates up a pile of french toast and sets it in front of izanagi, "i... don't know. We never had a great relationship but it wasn't terrible either. I got everything I wanted but he always kept to his work. I barely have any memories of him. Just mainly of my mother and our maid.  I guess I'm also afraid that if he knows I'm okay would he double down on his search efforts and start causing issues for the district. If he does that then I'll HAVE to go back. I don't want to cause everyone here issues."

[Namari]

Izanagi makes a happy noise as French toast is placed before him. " Thanks! Yeah that sounds like a conundrum. I dunno what to tell you, Nikiri might have some better insight." He stuffs a piece of French toast in his mouth and chews happily.

[MissyLooni]

Takana sighs and sits down with his own stack of French toast, "I don't want to keep bothering him. He already had to help me with my ears and he is busy with his family an awful lot."

" true. arakans mom knows about you. i don;t think arakan would be a good person to talk to about this. you really think if your dad finds out you're okay he's gonna look harder for you? you'd think the longer you're gone without contact the more freaked out he'll get."

[MissyLooni]

Takana pauses as he's about to take a bit of his food. His ears droop and he gives another depressed sigh before setting his fork down, "i... don't know....I never knew him that well to begin with." He pushes his plate away a little so that he can lower his head onto the table

Izanagi raises an eyebrow, " so...you have no idea how he'll act because you barely know the guy?"

[MissyLooni]

Takana nods,  "that's why I don't really believe yori when he says that my dad is worried about me,  but yori would never lie to me. My life was mostly my mother and our maid,  and then dad remarried and I had to grow up quickly and fend for myself because his new wife never liked me. "

Izanagi tilts his head, " so you think it's false, but yori wouldn't lie so it can't be false? I'm confused."
