"Sorry I just... I worry. I worry that I'm not doing enough... and sometimes I think that what I'm doing might piss off some humans and cause more issues for you. I wish I could ensure that this district and it's people thrive in better conditions."

[Namari]

Arakan sighs, " it might, but if we didn;t do anything at all, i might be able to keep things under control for a few more years, but that's about it. things were getting to a breaking point, and that means a lot of death would follow."

[MissyLooni]

Takana whines softly and goes over to arakan, rubbing his head against the taller male, "I know... could you imagine all the shit that would never happen here if I hadn't shown up."

[Namari]

Arakan rests his hand in Takana's head and gently teases his hair, " yes, things would be different. to think not that long ago i was preparing for an inevitable second war. now i hope we can avoid it."

[MissyLooni]

"And I would have never known that a war was even going to happen. I probably would be killed. Isn't that an interesting thought."

[Namari]

Arakan sighs, " maybe. maybe not. we're not monsters. most people would flee and not fight. we wouldn't have gone after people who ran, we would have gone after the guards first, then perhaps the makers of these." he reaches up and gently touches his collar, " made them free us. and if we survived that...tried to go someplace where we could get away from the humans i guess."

[MissyLooni]

Takana snorts, "something tells me I'd be dead. You would have found me in an interesting home, no ears, no collar,  and I certainly wouldn't have ran. At least without getting yori and protecting him. "

[Namari]

Arakan blinks, raising an eyebrow, " no ears? And i wouldn't go running into random homes killing people."

[MissyLooni]

Takana blinks and looks up at arakan, "remember? The last time we talked about my daily life before here, I was made to wear a headband that hid my ears. And sure you wouldn't go into homes at the random but what about mansions for the obscenely rich? Like, they control the guards, rich?"

[Namari]

Arakan blinks, " ah, right. i forgot. i mean, not if they weren't doing anything. i may have even spared the kuroshibas if they cooperated in taking the collars off. I have no desire to slaughter them, just to get free."

[MissyLooni]

Takana's ears fold back a little and he looks back down, "this isn't a great conversation. I'm gonna go get ready for work."

[Namari]

Arakan blinks, " okay?" he frowns, sitting down and shaking his head. did the other really hate the humans so much that he'd prefer they died?

[MissyLooni]

Takana goes to his room and gets ready for work.

[Namari]

Arakan sighs softly and pushes it from his mind, looking at his phone and working on a few emails from there.


Izanagi soon comes out, perky and ready to go to work.

[MissyLooni]

Soon after takana steps out and grabs his bag, "alright, I'm ready to go."

Nikiri sends izanagi a quick text, ' bring my kimono to the cafe today. I'll trade it out for a different one
