touhou perks up a bit and nods, "Yes of course."

Yori frowns, " i... i don;t even know where to start honestly. i want to know more about the house, and my dad.... nobody else can tell me it seems like. i don't know what i am, or how to find out, or what to do... the house told me to fight, but everyone else says not to. i just... i feel like i should be doing something. im just a dumb kid that doesn;t know anything about the world or how it works apparently, but i just feel.... stuck."

touhou glances at Yori, frowning a little, "Im sorry to hear about your troubles. The house wants you to fight so you can claim it. It has a contract with Corrin that was forged shortly after he built the house. As long as he can protect it, it will protect him. If he cant protect it then it will either go back to whence it came or transfer itself and the contract to Corrin's strongest child. Of course its going to tell you to get strong and fight so it can keep surviving. its not the only way to take care of corrin though. Sure you could learn to fight and take him on, which is the quickest way to kill him but we can just as easily play the long game, let him get weaker and weaker until someone like arakan can take him down."

Yori frowns, " isn't that dangerous though? it feels wrong to let them take this on when they really didn;t have any connection to it... and why am i the strongest child? im just... me."

touhou is quiet for a really long time, looking at the controller in his hands, "you're a half demon with half of corrins dna. the contract is compatible with you. you are the house's best chance to survive."

[Namari]

" but why me? Takana is way smarter and better than I am." He flops backwards, staring at the ceiling.

[MissyLooni]

touhou hums softly, "he is only a changeling and is not compatible with the darkness."

Yori looks at him, " and I am? But...I've never done anything that's not just being a regular human before this "

touhou sighs, "ignore the 'before this'. we're gonna focus on the now. and right now the house wants you as its next vessel and id rather you have a normal life if im being honest."

[Namari]

Yori frowns, " but...what even is normal? Living at home with my father who's a monster and tried to attack me? My mom who left me with him when he wanted to lock me in my room... I've never been a normal kid, and now I know things will never really be normal. I don't even know what I am."

[MissyLooni]

"you're you. Yori. A nice young man who cares about others and wants to do good. "

Yori sighs, " I'm a dumb adult who only has his monster of a dad's money and no real talents or skills of his own. I can't even make a bed."

touhou frowns, "what can i do or say to brighten your spirits? i know you're upset and i can give you some time to think about things but moping around for too long isnt going to do any real good. I could always teach you how to be more self sufficient and if you really feel like you want to fight then, as long as you promise it'll only be for defending yourself, i can teach you how to fight since i know how it works."

Yori looks at him, " actually knowing how to take care of myself is probably a good idea. And to defend myself. Though how can you teach me when we don't even know what I am?"

touhou nervously looks down, "i... if you knew what you were, would it affect how you feel about this whole thing?"
