Yori blinks, " I dunno. But it doesn't really matter since we don't know anyway. I mean, I'd like to think that even if I'm the same thing as my dad that I wouldn't be like him... But I guess I have no idea how all that works."

touhou raises an eyebrow, "it all depends on whether you were born on a new moon or not. i know corrin never paid attention to your birth but i did. if you really want to know i can tell you but if im being honest its pretty obvious."

Yori blinks, " it's obvious? How? I e never like, changed my hair or anything, that's what skinwalkers do right? Change shape? And I know I've never looked like dad did. At least I've never seen myself look like that? How is this obvious?"

"skinwalkers are a bit more complicated than that but just the fact that the contract specifies that it wants the creatures next of kin to take over should make it obvious. kin, not as in kid but as in kind. after all his type of creature are one of the few things that can even use and communicate tendrils of darkness. and you're half human raised in human environment. you've never HAD to fight for your life until you did. and when it happened the house responded. thats proof enough."

Yori frowns, thinking, " so... im one of those thingies? you said you didn;t know what i was though."

touhou grumbles, "i... lied. hoping youd just ignore the whole thing and just try to relax and not worry about it. you shouldnt worry about such an issue."

Yori frowns, " of course im gonna worry, wouldn;t you worry if you'd been told you might be some sort of monster but weren;t sure?"

touhou sighs, "i dont know. I was just hoping to protect you from all of this..."

Yori frowns, " you don;t have to protect anyone... let alone me. im not special or anything."

[MissyLooni]

touhou shakes his head, "I made a promise to someone i cared deeply about that i would keep takana safe and anyone else who takana holds dear to him. you fall under that category so I want to keep you two safe. I will keep you two safe. its the only purpose i have now."

Yori frowns, " but... you should live for yourself too. isn;t that a purpose? i know my dad has ruined most of your life, so why not enjoy it now that you're free?"

[MissyLooni]

touhou hums softly, "im not technically alive. he technically killed me shortly after i met him. he then used the tendrils of darkness to bring me back, keeping me animated as i am with his powers."

Yori blinks, staring, then blinks again, " ....what?"

touhou looks at him, "yeah, how else would i have been around for so long? it was a little after he added the second bedroom to his shack and I realized what he was when i discovered the tendrils. I panicked and tried to run and then everything went black. next thing i knew i watched pieces of my body being stitched together and i feel what the house feels so i know im connected to it in someway."

Yori gapes, " i... i guess i didn;t realize that he'd been around so long. so... he killed you? that's... that's awful. im so sorry... can... is there a way i can fix it?"
