It doesn't take long for the whispers to come back to him.

Touhou watches and nods, "when you think you are ready start imagining yourself in the shadows. To not exist. You know you're doing it correctly when you notice you can't feel how cold it is."

[Namari]

Yori nods, trying not to break the focus. the whispers waver for a moment but come back quickly. He waits for awhile, not sure what 'ready' was supposed to feel like, but after awhile he starts trying to imagine himself in the shadows, nothing happening for a long time before he realizes he's not feeling cold anymore.

[MissyLooni]

Touhou blinks as he watches yori fade and become harder to see in the dark, "damn in one day. He's good."

He bends down and grabs some snow, packing it into a ball and aims before whipping it at yori

[Namari]

The snowball hits him and he pops back into visibility with a yelp, falling backwards onto his back in the snow, " what was that for?!"

[MissyLooni]

touhou snorts, "i can still sense you so i wanted to see how far you got. If youre going up against an enemy this will still try to strike you fyi so we need you to transition quicker and be able to move without breaking concentration."

[Namari]

Yori scowls, " i just started today, gimme a break. im trying."

[MissyLooni]

Touhou shrugs, "you're progressing a lot faster than I thought you would, figured I'd see if you already made it to the part where it would go through you."

[Namari]

Yori blinks, " but you just said it'd still hit me and i'd need to be able to move. did you just mean at that stage of like... becoming one with the shadows or whatever?"

[MissyLooni]

Touhou nods, "your father is able to slip into the shadows and move quickly from his original spot so if an enemy tries to attack the last spot they saw him in they'd miss. He then uses that opportunity to finish shifting into the shadows until he is actually one with the shadows and either leave or shift to a better location and strike his opponent. Once you strike though you leave the comfort of the shadows and are able to get hit again."

[Namari]

Yori nods slowly, " that makes sense... Can we stop for today? I'm really cold and feel pretty drained."

[MissyLooni]

Touhou nods, "of course. Were you planning on doing that shopping still? Something about pills?"

[Namari]

Yori nods, " yeah, some supplements to help the district. And Nikiri's mom. she has low iron but they can't get iron supplements... so im gonna get some. and some other vitamins, whatever she doesn;t use they can give to Korri for the people who need it most."

[MissyLooni]

Touhou tilts his head, "She seems to be lacking a lot of natural nutrition. I wonder if a one a day woman's gummy pack is beneficial for her. Or maybe even asking a lady at the pharmacy what her best thoughts were for vitamins for a mother who has hypertension and persistent anemia."

[Namari]

Yori blinks, " that's probably a good idea. i was just gonna get a bunch and see what Korri thought was good but that works too."

[MissyLooni]

Touhou nods, "I wont be able to walk around as I am since I might get cursed at for no collar but I can go back to my mouse form."
