Isabelle finally gets her chance to enter the district and she relaxes a little now that she is somewhere where her husband cant be

the woman look a little nervous but they follow proper instructions

Indigo smiles at the women, taking care to appear friendly. He spots Isabelle and his face lights up from polite friendliness to actual excitement. " Isabelle!" He waves.

Kaiten waves at the women and points at the ground where arrows are marked leading towards Karims shop, " you are welcome to shop elsewhere of course, but I've been told most of you are here to visit the seamster Karim. Follow these arrows and you'll be there in just a couple minutes."

isabelle hears her name and her head whips around to look at Indigo. She blinks and gives a small smile, anything wider hurt, and she gives a small wave.

The woman who had not noticed isabelle in the back notice her now and they are very quick to suddenly act more relaxed and secure. They follow the arrows respectfully

Indigo smiles, not close enough to see her well, and unwilling to leave his post and his responsibility.

Karim paces his shop, his best pieces displayed at the front and rows of unique outfits hanging on display, every rack full as he'd been working his ass off to be ready.

The girls gasp at how beautiful the clothes are and quickly start shopping.

Isabelle waits until she knows the woman are behaving while shopping before going over to indigo, "The woman seem to be behaving better than i thought which is a good thing."

[Namari]

Karim relaxes when the women behave and busies himself helping them find exactly what they want and making sure it's a perfect fit.

Indigo nods, " it bodes well." He looks at her, then frowns. He lifts his hand to cup her chin gently as he looks at her face, " you're wearing makeup...your eye. Are you alright?"

isabelle flinches when indigo brings his hand up and she tries to quickly look away, "I-its a special occasion so um make up should be expected and i just didnt sleep well last night! thats all."

[Namari]

Indigos eyes darken when she flinches away from him, " if that were the case, you would not have responded with fear of me just now. Who hit you." The metallic feathers start to lift on his head.

isabelle pales a little and glances around, "I-indigo we're in public right now, this really isnt a conversation to have out here."

[Namari]

Indigo blinks, glances around, then opens the guard post and gently pushes her in. He then shoves Davie out considerably less gently, " need this for a minute. Out."

davie gives a soft yelp but lets himself be scooted out, "Ack! rude."

isabelle makes soft squeak sounds when she's brought inside the post, looking nervous

Indigo leans in to look carefully, " I'm not going to hurt you, I just want to see...does it hurt badly? I can have someone take my post so I can take you to Korri, she'll be able to help."

Isabelle does her best not to wince, "um. It does hurt... a lot actually. I think it was a punch and not a slap." Her eyes water a little, "I'm sorry... i... maybe I shouldn't have come. I was so excited to but makoto said I shouldn't because it's disrespectful to him and I told him he had no right to say that after the years he spent being disrespectful to me. We yelled at each other... he called you guys monsters and I snapped... I got so angry and for the first time I snapped at him. Told him if anyone was a monster on this planet then it was him. Next thing I knew I was on the ground. He left to go to work and i..." her voice trembles and she sniffles as tears just fall down her face, "he's never di-did that be-before but i- I also never stood up to him and i... he told me to stay home and I didn't. I still came here and now I'm too afraid to go home in case he gets home first and sees I left anyway. I'm sorry... I'm sorry I pulled you away from your post maybe I should just go home."
Her tears reveal more deep bruising on her right cheek

Indigo cups her unbruised cheek, looking more torn between being upset for her and being absolutely furious, " shhhh it's okay...you didn't do anything wrong. If it wouldn't be a death sentence for me I'd go find him and beat his sorry ass within an inch of his life! What a disgusting despicable excuse for a person! You're okay, we'll take care of you." He pulls her into a gentle hug, then grabs one of the walkies they had been given to communicate. " Arakan? Can I have a word real quick?"

Arakan blinks and goes over, " what's...." He peers in and sees Isabelle, " well I know you didn't do that. Get her to my mother. I'll stay here with Davie while I call in a replacement."

Indigo looks at Arakan with pure gratitude, "thank you." He grabs his jacket and wraps it around Isabelle, pulling the hood up to shield her face and avoid unwanted attention. " Come on." He ushers her out and towards the clinic.

Isabelle keeps her head low, feeling absolute shameful that arakan or anyone else could see her in her state.
She follows along with indigo as she starts feeling a little numb to her surroundings.
