The chaos and mischief of ganging up on Vanrad with Thor, similar to how they had when they were children, elevated Loki's mood. Especially when he started squealing, as if he'd just remembered exactly who Thor was. A feeling of familiar possessiveness went through him at the claim that Thor put upon himself, satisfying and addicting in the way it spread through him. Thor had always smelled like he was meant to be his. Perhaps this time... Well, this may very well be the last chance between them and Loki was determined to get through his brother's thick skull.

"Watch your tongue." Loki growled, this time stalking forward. "Only I'm allowed to talk to him like that. Run back home with your tail between your legs, your mongrel." A flash of green and there was a knife in his hand at his side, stolen from the kitchen butcher block. It was ready in case he tried anything and everyone knew how good Loki was at wielding daggers and knives. Vanrad ran off though, and the God of Mischief scowled at his retreating form.

"Gods are hard to come by." They were related to most of them. "The question is how senile the old man has become and if he continues to send those bent on causing more problems than I do." Which was saying something. It was time for Odin to retire. Thor had been too immature and irrational back during the time when he had almost been first coronated. It wasn't just that Loki wanted the throne or that he was pissed at his brother; Thor would've done a bad job at the time. At least on his own. Now there was the potential for both of them to seize the crown, as they were meant to.

A movement of his hand and the knife disappeared again. "Let's return. I believe Stark has some words for you." He said with amusement, recalling the expression on the omega's face when Thor corrected him. He was not a man who was used to taking orders from someone. Loki also didn't like being out in the open when he hadn't had time to survey his surroundings properly and come up with several plans and backup plans for when things happened.

"Apparantly I'm tainted." Thor questioned he scratched his chin no doubt that he'd report to his father. "I don't think we'd seen the last of him I reckon he gave up too easily." Thor wasn't amused by the ordeal but was grateful for Loki's intervention. "So no one's not allowed to insult me accept you? How does that one work brother mine?" Thor asked be-mused. Did he hint that Loki was trying to protect him? He wondered that often.

Loki was a calculated man, the male with all the power of a plan in place where Thor normally just smashed his way through to see what happened. He shoved his hands in his pockets, he was glad that the male had his tail between his legs he didn't like the idea of being be-little by him. He was a God and he lived for a very long time, sometimes he thought too long. Whether Thor knew it or not he knew that Loki could probably get away with murder saying things that he'd probably over look or found funny. There was something about Loki that had always drew him in.

In hind sight he had a slight unhealthy obsession with Loki the need to keep him close.  He hated the fact that they weren't close but little moments like this made him remember how it was before all shit hit the fan. Thor remained at Loki's side as he allowed his head to rest against Loki's frame, his chin rested, he wasn't tired as such he was just taking time to chill out. He had learnt how to control his anger. Of course he lifted himself up in case he was over stepping his boundaries he was obviously craving touch of some kind.

"I find it hard to believe that I scared and Alpha." Thor scoffed. It was more 50% of actually trying to intimidate Loki can see past that and wouldn't be phased. Perhaps it was actually two gods in stead of one that ticked the Alpha off.

Thor had gradually made his way back to Stark. "Maybe that was a bit much for the poor guy. " Thor gave a sheepish smile. "We'd have to find what metal man wants."

He remained close towards Loki without really meaning to his body was craving touch, the meaning of feeling protected. Thor rarely showed that weakness to anyone only Loki made him feel that way that he could let his guard down. Perhaps he shouldn't. Since he was the God of mischief.  "I personally wouldn't mind challenging Odin I feel a lot more confident in regards to the crown just an over whelming prospect. I just get a feeling that's what all these suiters are just interested in." Thor let out a sigh.

He knew Loki was interested in the crown but he knew he would add benefits rather than manipulate Thor. Loki knew the best way to handle practical, political matters. Where as Thor was more behind the muscle of the operation.

"I think if you were here Loki. I would probably feel I have the confidence to retire my father." Which was a big thing to say. He wasn't boasting about his right to the throne but he would share it with his brother. It wasn't long before they got back to the tower.

Captain was outside the stark tower through the intercom of the ear piece. "The God's have come back Stark, where did you want them? looks like the third wheel isn't here either." Meaning the guest.

"Morning boys." Cap smirked towards Loki. "What happened to the new guest?" Cap wondered only to meet Thor's eyes.

"You really don't want to know."  Thor muttered sheepishly.

"If it's going to start a war we will have to know, besides the only person that's interested in the details is Tony. He will be expecting to have a chat." Cap folded a arms across his chest.

"Relax, I dealt with him and no one has to deal with any war.  He was being what you guys refer to as a prick. So I put him in his place." Thor didn't really want go to too much detail with Captain the only person he really needed to explain things were Stark - Even he didn't want to do that.

Loki would've expected such an insult to be aimed towards him, not Thor. They were meant to be more evolved with their approach to second genders and yet there were these expectations that didn't make sense to him. "Don't say that, you'll make him more likely to come back." What omega would mate with an alpha after being insulted like that? Especially a weak one who cowed so easily and ran away. If he couldn't withstand a fraction of Thor's power he didn't deserve to even consider mating with him.

"Shut your mouth." Loki replied, nearly rolling his eyes as Thor then teased him about what he'd said to Vanrad. Despite that, he stayed still, letting Thor lean on him. It didn't erase everything. The pain and everything was still there, but there was an unspoken truce. The God then scoffed when his brother expressed disbelief. "Are you off living in your own world? Don't tell me you're saying this to try and get me to boast about you, brother. What happened to 'You are no match for the mighty power of Thor'?" He mocked. Thinking himself substandard simply due to second gender, it wasn't like him. Or perhaps he'd just been fighting those feelings from the beginning.

Heading back to the Tower, they blended in better but still caught a few eyes as being attractive men. Not nearly the same crowd as yesterday though. "I'm not so sure about that," He said about Stark and it being 'too much', "I threw him out the window and he came back." It was close to a compliment.  Mostly because the man appeared to be able to be swayed to his side of things concerning the suitors.

They walked with their shoulders and arms touching. Loki could've done more but he wasn't willing to give away his plans yet. Not when Thor was still coming to terms with things and opening up his mind to all he'd shut out before. He perked up in hearing Thor talking about challenging Odin for the crown. Before, yes, he hadn't been ready, but now he was more rounded as a person and opening up to the idea of a mate. "The one you choose should be the one you want by your side through all of it then. You didn't agree that you would mate with one of these chosen suitors, did you?" He narrowed his eyes at him slightly, wondering if he'd fucked things up that much.

"I am here, Brother." Loki stated, not going further into it in that moment as one of the Avengers was waiting for them at the base of the Tower.

--

Tony hadn't had a break today. After the asshole Asguardian had left he'd had to get the jump on more paperwork and filing forms and greasing the right wheels that made it all possible for inter-realm beings to come down and cause drama without the world throwing a fit. To put it short: it was a pain in the ass. Thankfully he had Jarvis who was able to do most of the busy work for him, but he had to deal with the people, which was just as, if not more, tiring. Tony didn't like kissing ass and greasing palms. It was one of the things he did not miss as being CEO of Stark Industries.

"Bring them up to the meeting room." He responded to Cap. "It's time we learned what's going on."

--

Down below, Loki smirked as Cap mentioned Vanrad, Thor not wanting to answer. "He squealed like the swine he is and ran off to sooth his wounded Alpha pride as soon as Thor lost his temper a little." That didn't name what was going on but said enough about the situation to say what kind of man their 'guest' was and what to expect if he returned. "Feel free to stage an 'accident' should he return." That was bound to get him at least a 'look', but he didn't care. Loki didn't have to hide his feelings on the matter.

It wasn't long before everyone was at the meeting room with Thor not sitting but more pacing behind Loki. More like trying to figure his words out he hated discussing his private life not only that Loki would learn the truth about what was being said and done that lead them to this. He wasn't that daft to consent to the 3 suitors, he just said that he would 'see' them but he never said he would at the end of it. His father would most likely keep sending the men of Asguard until Thor gave in.

His hands went to the back of Loki's chair his empty chair remained empty as he was pondering his thoughts. Banner could sense the stress of the anxiety since he was familiar being anxious the pacing was just confirming his thoughts.  "I shouldn't have to tell you about my family business but been as we're using your tower as a place to stay I will owe you that." Thor clearly didn't want to talk about it his breathing was becoming heavy.

"For the last 3 years, metal man. I've been cleaning up Loki's mess within the 9 realms my father is king of. King Odin was beginning to loose his patience when he tried to take over Miguard which of course landed Loki in prison. It took a long time for his sentence. I was not allowed to see him but I told our servants that despite cleaning up Loki's mess I would be eating the same thing as he did and when he was given food. " He sighed heavily as he raked a hand through his golden locks of hair.

"I tried to shorten the limited time Loki had in prison but my father is pretty stubborn. I knew there was one thing he desperately wanted." Thor might be a little dense at times but he knew not to talk about Loki's private affairs of his own discovery of his heritage. He deliberately left that part out.

"He wanted me to settle down, have babies and live my life as an omega. I've been fighting this life style for a long time my freedom is everything. I even did things I regretted doing that could've avoided this mess." Meaning regretted to deny Loki as his one true mate. But he didn't need to mention the ifs the buts the why's.

"So.. I bargained with Odin said I will meet 3 of his choosing and if we bond well and I like them. I will have a child with that person. If I don't it's most likely he'd keep sending suiters until I reluctantly agree."

"As the heir to the throne my father is very intent on me finding someone that is suitable. My brother meant that much to me to give up that side of my freedom to give in being an omega, it was probably not very tactful but there you go. If Loki decided to betray me and betray us, not only that Loki will go to prison I will as well as I failed to watch him it's on me. I will be given a punishment of Loki's since it was me that suggested this."

Thor allowed Tony and the others to sense the gravity of this. Thor didn't want any of this. He paced anxiously letting go of Loki's seat for some reason despite being a room of the Avengers knowing that they may or may not have his back he felt alone like he was being judged. Maybe he too hadn't had sleep or a relaxing holiday it's been one stress-ache after another.

"I've always struggled with terms being an omega, I'm not ashamed of being one but it just felt like a chain, like I couldn't be the warrior I was born to be. I thought people wouldn't take me seriously enough and explore the realms, having a family scared the crap out of me. So I avoided it." Thor paced like a wild animal in a cage.

Natasha looked at Thor who was pacing. "What do we do Tony?" It sounded like heavy stuff. She looked at Loki. Captain America was thinking and pondering what Thor had just announced. "What you do is do nothing but allow me to sort this out." Thor mentioned hearing Natasha speak.

"Do nothing?" Natasha asked tilted her head. "You're part of a team now Thor whether you or Loki doesn't like it the fact is that your part of us and part of the team. We deal things like this as a family. We are your family." Natasha spoken. They were a tight knit group and did things together and worked out their problems.

"I know we're a team but this is something completely out of your depth Natasha. I accepted this is my fate if it meant that Loki was out of prison, I just have to deal with my end of the bargain the more of you get involved well.. Vanrad was lucky that he wasn't a god. They might be pig-headed and Lord like without actual real power they can still turn into an all out war if they felt insulted. I can't back my own response up. Or defend myself since I'm here and they're on their way back to Asguard."  Thor sighed.

He knew the Avengers had the right to know everything but this felt like a similar council he had for the past 3 years trying to sort out Loki's future.

Everyone had gathered in the meeting room, the Avengers mostly on their side of the table and Loki sitting in his chair as if he owned the place, not at all bothered by his brother pacing behind him. It was a good bit of chaos and it'd allow him to see who may be his potential allies in this. Clint was glaring at him intensely and he really couldn't blame him, though he didn't lose the smile on his face, meeting them head on, so to speak. It wasn't he who started the meeting though.

"Alright, Thor, mind telling us what's going on here?" Tony asked, breaking the silence. Whatever had happened up in Asguard, some sort of truce or understanding had happened between the brothers. They were getting along for now and from what Jarvis reported, Loki was even taking care of Thor. Tony didn't know enough about them to know if this was 'normal' and if the last time had been the outlier. It seemed like they were going to learn some of that now though. His brow furrowed a bit at the jumbled speech, watching as Loki's eyes darted to Thor when he mentioned eating only what he ate, a faint frown there.

He hadn't known that then. It seemed like a ridiculous thing to do for him; especially to mention. Thor's mind must be all over the place. It was his turn for his eyes to narrow as Thor explained exactly why the suitors where coming here. He understood exactly where Thor was coming from here. There'd always been the expectation on him that he'd find an acceptable Alpha of the perfect pedigree, settle down, pop out kids, and be the the good, obedient little omega. That just wasn't him. He couldn't see Thor doing that either.

So Odin was sending down suitors to try and breed Thor? That just didn't sit right with him. No wonder he hadn't liked that guy. Most likely they couldn't just keep kicking these Asguardians off of Earth without starting something. Thor clearly stating that he didn't want this was all he needed. "Obviously we're not going to let this happen." Tony responded. He didn't quite know how yet, but he'd figure it out.

Clint, though a beta, didn't look pleased at the thought of anyone trying to force anyone into a relationship or position they didn't want. "You can't defend yourself. Loki can't get involved either. But there's nothing saying we can't defend ourselves against a perceived threat to our family." He said, sitting back. "We just have to be careful how we go about it."

What Loki was most surprised about was Natasha including him in as 'part of the team'. They hadn't even really discussed his sudden role as an Avenger, which he found laughable, and now he was being called family by these people in less than a day? Manipulative. Clever of her, really, trying to breed the feeling of comradery. It fit with his plans so he didn't speak against  it. "Brother, it's to my understanding that there is no end date for this 'breeding.' If Odin will continue to send suitors then it does not have to be one of the three. It'd be wise to accept help, especially when it'd be made easier to drive home the point that this arrangement is too much for these suitors to handle." There were hints in his speech the alluded to the Avengers, and himself, making it so the suitors would not want to be with Thor nor stick around Midguard.

"You know, Jarvis can make things really inconvenient." Tony added helpfully.

"I'd be pleased to be of assistance."

"You know how machines can act up."

"I find that insulting, Sir."

Tony grinned at one of the sensors. "Play along, J. You may even have fun."

"If they leave of their own volition, it can't be blamed on either of us, now can it?" Loki asked, smirking deviously.

Thor was listening to the various discussion he let out a sigh he wasn't used to accepting help he had been a one man army for heaven's sake for a long time but people were providing suggestions. Even Loki surprised him the most but that was a given they were close despite the fact that recent times but when it mattered most that they would look out for each other. He sat perched not so far away from Loki.

He was surprised Clint's response well. "We might not understand Loki and their are some hard truth's that we need to mend and discuss. We don't fully trust you Loki as you can understand but Natasha is right. We are family and family look out for one another that is including you Thor. You have been fighting on your own for way too long and take that from someone that knows it all too well."

"I still don't like the puny god though." Banner addressed adding his own thoughts to the subject but he was measly teasing. "Mess with the Earth again Loki and I can guarantee you will you not like the response. But I will try my best to behave around you if you do the same."  Compromising with the God of mischief what was the world coming to? Banner thought.

Thor was grateful for the response. "It is not easy to accept help, brother you know that better than most. I did things for a very long time this way it's weird to think that I can rely on such help." Thor wasn't very sure of it in all honest he was out of his own depth for even considering it.

"Hearing Tony's suggestion about machine's acting up. He figured that taking the Crown, taking the lead as omega would be a lonely journey but here were people supporting him in matters that didn't concern them only the  safety of Earth. "I'm just sorry for bringing matters of my own to your door Stark. I really didn't know how this would pan out. I feel bad enough for banding my brother too me in this endeavour but I thought at least he could have a bit of freedom of what he wouldn't have back at Asguard."

"I've been depressed and not myself for the past years for not preventing the prison sentence for Loki. I know he deserves some punishment for the crimes he's committed. But I believe things can change. I think if I choose a suiter whether I like it or not that will give Loki his freedom back and not tie to me since that was the agreement and if I do cease power I will release Loki providing he doesn't break the rules." Thor established scratching the back of his head. As if he started to feel his age a bit.

"It just didn't feel right involving you guys into my mess. I'm not the one to ask for help even though it's plainly obvious that I need it. Providing I behave myself around these suiters hopefully a war will not come of it." Thor added it was clear what was stressing him out the most, his mind was not thinking straight since Loki was the best one for that job.

"I'm not sure when the next suiter will arrive." Thor bit his lip and continued pacing again.

"Maybe I should just stop being selfish." Thor was wondering if that was the entire problem in it's self? being too content with being a warrior, being in love with a man he wanted to be with but he was worried about being chained, not that Loki would chain him but he knew his father would.

"Regardless of the fact my days as a warrior is over, according to Odin."

This time Loki did role his eyes as it was clearly mentioned that he was untrustworthy. Of course he was. If it was of benefit to himself then he would take that road. It was only that that road started to include Thor on it a lot as well. "Oh, come now, I haven't stabbed anyone yet." Only threatened Vanrad and that he didn't think counted. "Not even Thor."

To his brother he responded, "Even I know when to take advantage of such offerings." How hypocritical that may be if Loki were alone in a similar situation, he didn't know. Certainly he'd do anything in his power to weasel his way out of it.

Tony waved off the apology, but frowned at the rest of it, "Let's not get ahead of ourselves here, Point Break. A little melodramatic to be think of mating yourself off for Loki's freedom, huh?"

"He's been such a drama queen as of late." Loki agreed, not happy with his brother's way of speaking. Standing finally, he strode over and put at stop to Thor's pacing, ushering him over to the chair he'd vacated and pushing him down into it. The leather would hold his scent and calm the behemoth man down for a while. Loki stationed himself right there to prevent him from getting up again. Looming over the Avengers, he changed the subject abruptly. "Since we're all getting in touch with our feelings," he appeared disturbed by the word, "perhaps we should address the elephant in the room. Or should I say, up there." Loki glanced up and pointed at the ceiling.

Up through the floors in the labs sat the staff that Loki had used to mind control Clint and attempt to take over New York. Tony tensed a little and then more as Loki stated, "You keep the staff in the building."

"How do you know about that?" Tony demanded, Clint sitting forward in his seat, this exactly the wrong subject to bring up with him.

"You see?!"

"I can feel it." Loki replied simply. "That kind of power calls to you; Get rid of it. Sent it to Asguard where it can be properly stored."

Brows went up as that wasn't what Tony expected to hear. "What? You want us to get rid of it?"

"Fools." He mocked. "Do you think I came across it on my own?" Clints brows furrowed then in thought. Loki spared a glance to Thor. "Did you not wonder where I was for all those years?"  Looking back to the others he stated, "The staff contains what's called an Infinity Stone. The mind stone, to be precise. There is someone much more of a threat than I that may eventually want it back. Trust me, you do not want it here."

"Why are you telling us this?" Clint demanded, wanting to know the reason behind it.

Again, Loki looked to Thor. "Call it...a gift." He didn't elaborate and had no intentions of it. In reality it was his opening courting gesture, opening himself up and giving away information he'd normally keep quiet and to himself. It took a lot from him but a meaningful courting gesture really should. It didn't matter if Thor didn't realize it now. A part of him still would.

Tony, who'd been thinking about the implications and small hints Loki liked to leave people, then asked, "...So are you saying that this threat, whoever it is, gave you the staff? Did he happen to use it on you first?" Clint frowned, not liking that Loki could just jump on that and take the out, but also having come to the same conclusion.

Pursing his lips together for a moment, Loki finally replied, "I was not entirely of my right mind." This was something he had told no one before. Not Mother, not Thor, certainly not Odin. No one knew the circumstances of his attack on Midguard. They all just assumed it was him for his own reasons.

When Thor was abruptly ushered into the seat he grumbled alittle Lokis chair. He disgruntled something in Loki being stubborn th need to punch, break something was so strong in him. For the first time in his life he felt helpless. He hated relying on people when it was his own mess. He didn't want to be pitied on.

Thor relaxed into the scent allowing him to stop struggling his mind wasn't focused on thr conversation anymore more the fact that Loki was near him.  He relaxed almost instantly to Lokis scent.  He almost leaned back into the chair his muscles relaxed.

From a wild animal to a calm Thor even Natasha had noticed the effects that Loki had on Thor. "Sorry to break up the chat but how are you able to do that?  He was ready to punch something then all of a sudden he was docile. Natasha was very observant.

The me timing of the staff Banner had quipped his head and eyed at Loki when he mentioned about the stone within the staff. "" So the stone was controlling you in ways? You weren't control of your own thoughts in taking over Earth? I find it hard to believe you were completely innocent in this. "

It didn't take that much observance to notice the affect Loki had on Thor just then. The raging God practically melted at his scent, almost like... Well, Tony had been around the block a few times. A lot of times, really, and had seen and been into some really kinky shit. If he didn't know better he'd say these two had a rather un-brotherly bond. All the little weird actions Thor had done for Loki, the drastic steps he'd taken, and then here was Loki, the guy who'd stabbed and tried to kill him before, taking care of him like none of that had happened. The genius wasn't about to bring it up, but it was lingering in the back of his mind.

"Over 1500 years together and you think I don't know how to calm my own brother down?" Loki asked, not actually answering the question. He easily side stepped it back into the conversation he'd been trying to have and get over with. Alas, he wasn't even certain his bone-head brother was paying attention. Perhaps he'd make Jarvis play it back for him, certain the AI was recording everything.

"Who's to say?" Came the response to Banner. "Perhaps part of me did want to destroy this beloved planet of my brother's." He turned a dull look onto him. "If I were to seriously attempt such a thing though, I would've set for the invasion to happen somewhere unknown. Amass an army before destroying everything in an overwhelming force, starting with Earth's heroes as an example. Instead I had enough control to linger around the few people who had a chance at stopping me before it started. You're welcome." Loki said highly sarcastically. Showing up around them repeatedly had been stupid. But he'd been able to justify it to himself, or more so the mind stone, enough that he got away with it.

"I don't want to believe him but there were safer and taller places than Stark Tower to set up that worm hole." Clint said. "When I was under...I couldn't control myself. I was watching myself do everything. All that mattered was following my new goal and orders." Looking straight at Loki he asked, "What were your orders?"

Loki clenched his teeth together, quite done with this conversation, but knowing the Avengers wouldn't let this go. "Retrieve the terresect. Open the portal. Conquer Midguard." The last was aimed to entice him and entice him it did, but none the less it had also been an order. The Mad Titan had wanted half of Midguard destroyed.

Thor was listening to the conversation Thor wasn't paying attention to Lokis discussions mainly he knew that the male could handle himself. He was just focusing on the scent. He wondered how Loki felt to get his kind wraped by it. When everyone was given out their emotions on it. Thor scratched his chin thinking on it.

"As much I know your woeth metal man, I'd feel better knowing that such a thing is being kept at Asguard. Bigger threats will hear about its whereabouts. And will  try to take it we have a vault were most artefacts will be kept. And they're locked away. Somethings are best not to be tested Stark. I might not understand the science as well you and Green man do but I know common sense when I see it. It will great damage the you don't want in your doorstep."

He leaned into the chair melting, almost sending him sleep. It was obvious In his slurred tone. He chuckled at Lokis speech about wanting to destroy his planet" You forget brother that I will have stopes you from destroying it. I find the people on migaurd fasincating sure their are things I don't understand but Migaurd is interesting. I couldn't think of a better planet to be banished on.,if I wee to be. "

" But Stark I do agree with Loki on this it is beyond your capabilities.even if you think you can even control its power it wil control you before you get even close to it. " Thor was getting irritated with the meeting becaude Stark was all about power and science. He knew that Tony would be stubborn." I'd feel better if it wasn't in hands of humans. "

Turning exasperatedly to his scent-drunk fool of a brother, Loki scowled at him, already in a failing mood due to the conversation. "Well congratulations, you've been banished here twice now." He crossed his arms over his chest. How much had he been paying attention and how much had he heard a few words of and gone off of that? It made him want to smack him upside the head. Or, better yet, stab him with one the kitchen knives he'd stolen. But alas, that last one wouldn't fit in with his courting gift. Later.

Tony leaned forward, not really liking how this meeting had turned. "Excuse you? Who felt it was fine to leave it here in the first place? I didn't hear you grumbling about 'us humans' then."

Loki looked up to the ceiling and then darted his hand out over Thor's mouth before he could respond. "We agreed to leave the negotiations to me, yes? Do keep quiet before you rile things up again." Tony had been ready for an argument, but he did look vaguely surprised at Loki shutting Thor up and taking over. "Stark, the mind stone will continue to influence those around it whether you realize it or not. It will cause you or someone else to do something exceedingly stupid for what you probably view are the right reasons. It plays on your fears and weaknesses. It's better kept contained and locked away. Not only that but having such a weapon sends a clear indication that Midguard is prepared for interstellar war when in actuality it is woefully unprepared. Armies far greater than what you saw that day are waiting. The mind stone is not the correct weapon."

Sitting back in his chair, the billionaire paled a bit, remembering that day and flying up into the wormhole. He'd seen the Chitauri army in its entirety. If what was up there was just the tip of the iceburg, then they didn't stand a chance if a full scale invasion happened. There was the possibility that he could build something, something with AI... But Loki's words rang in his head. Doing something exceedingly stupid for the right reasons. That'd been a problem for him before. He knew it had. He rubbed his face for a moment before conceding. "Alright, yeah. I saw what was up there and we don't need a beacon saying 'come get us'."

With a heavy sigh, he knew that was the end of studying the staff. Looking at Thor who may or may not be all there he said, pointing at Loki. "I like the way he talks better."

Thor tuttered some Asguardian language version of swear words. He was just sulking at this point. He didn't like that the fact that his non-important facts were left out of the discussion as Loki took command of it, he just grumbled and took it before he stood up and stretched his legs and muscles.  "I say that's a new record." Thor grinned at least he was in a better mood thanks to the heated scent.

"Just to point out here you're 1054 so you really should listen to your elders." Thor just remarked. "well technically you're banished from Asguard as well. Besides I don't rile things up I was actually agreeing with you." Thor shrugged he was hopeless at this kind of thing. Give him a weapon? all over it. He casually just laid against the wall.

Banner remained quiet looking at Tony then looking at Loki, mainly thinking about what was the best cause of action. "It's not uncommon Loki had always been better at these types of things, it's whether you have the have the ability to trust him or not. But this type of stuff he won't lie to you." Thor counter-acted.

Natasha was flicking her fingers underneath her chin resting under both. "I don't know what to think about it. I'm not being funny here but you are the God of mischief and your history hasn't been exactly colourful. But you do make a point. So basically we have to deal with the staff and the new suiters?" She asked looking at Loki. "I mean how can we say we have your words? you could be taking the staff for your self and take over the world again."

"I want to trust you but.." Natasha hesitated as she thought. "Maybe we should get you on a trial so we know that what you said is true."

A dull look was given to Thor. Since when did Loki listen to anyone when it wasn't of benefit to him? There he went, stating facts that didn't matter. At least he'd calmed down now to the point where Loki didn't feel he needed to keep him confined to the chair and his scent anymore. "If I kept quiet and listened to you we'd still be dealing with Vanrad at the moment." Thor had been ready to take the treatment. It was after Loki showed force that Thor stopped tolerating it.

Still, having Thor supporting him was something he hadn't felt in a while. Begrudgingly respectful of Natasha for pulling one over on him before, even if he had been mind controlled and compromised, he wasn't exactly looking forward to what her 'trials' would be. "Who said you need to hand it to me? Give it to Thor." Though he didn't wish to go back to Asguard at the moment. Loki didn't need Odin catching on that he was courting his brother. "Or," he paused, turning to Thor. "Call the Warriors Three."

Loki was not enthused to see them again, but he had to admit they were incredibly loyal to his brother. He would not trust Vanrad with the staff but if it were contained, he would trust the Warriors Three to deliver it to Odin's vaults. Provided they went straight from Midguard to there.

"Who now?" Tony asked, not enthused at the thought of there being more Asguardians running around.

"Friends of Thor." Loki replied. "Annoying but loyal to a fault. Sadly they have more manners than he does." He said, referring to his brother. Not among friends they didn't, but as guests they could show respect. Loki had rarely seen it aimed towards him though, which is why it'd tasted so grand when he'd taken over the throne for that short time.

Now that Thor was able to think straight, it dawned on him what this truly meant for Loki. He might of been slow to react but Thor wasn't a dumb buffoon to not realise what it all meant. Did he miss the signs? so worried about Miguard but didn't see signs of what state his brother was in? was he so convinced that he was going to protect Miguard. Thor was angry, he didn't know what he was angry at first himself for not seeing it sooner or angry at Loki for not telling him sooner was it his to tell? did Thor even have the right to be angry?

Thor growled darkly his eyes lit up without warning, the table that onced stood had a crack down the line he couldn't avoid it. "I'm going to kill that bastard." Thor growled when he realised what was happening. "I need to speak to Odin, this changes everything Loki why didn't you mention about this before? this could of saved you. It was miguiard's doing that pushed Odin over the edge along with your other doings." He was angry, super-angry right now to the point where he could just walk up to Thanos and not think.

Thor was beyond containing his angry to the point where the window was forming a crack but clearly Thor was trying to hold back his anger so he didn't do further damage but slowly cracks were on the glass. Sparks were flying with longer electictity sparks, but he was careful not to hit anyone despite how angry he was right now. Even made Natasha nervous. Thor just connected the dots, how dare anyone do that to his brother!

Thor's mind just snapped as he began to leave the room nearly breaking the door by slamming as hard. "Loki Come now." Thor ordered, which he never did  he needed to get out of this building he needed to talk to his father and hopefully talk about the sentence. It all made sense to him, so not only Loki had to deal with Thanos on his own, been mislead with his own anger towards Thor to get back at him, he was also told that he wasn't part of his family by Odin. He was dealing with all of that for 3 years?  Why didn't he see it?

"Loki COME" Thor was being impatient now he knew if he took another step that he'd be snapped back into place and he was in a really fowl mood to the point where  he'd probably break the tower. Thor summoned his hammer it automatically responded by with his hand he didn't know what he was thinking at this point he was fuming.

Tony and Clint leaned back from the table, Tony scooting his chair back as the table cracked. Loki simply gazed at it and then frowned slightly at Thor. Had it finally registered to him? "Would it have really mattered? Come now, I'm not actually Odin's son. I found out his dirty secret, there no reason for him to pretend anymore." It wasn't exactly a secret he expected had been kept from the Avengers. Going after Thanos though was a very stupid move he'd have to dissuade his brother from.

"Woah, there." Tony said softly, watching the cracks and damage starting to accumulate.

There'd be no easily calming him this time. A brow went up at the order, which Thor usually never gave until he was as angry as he was now. There was reason to be wary of his wrath, but still Loki did not fear him. For all his rage, Thor would not truly try to kill him. "Might want to stay away for a while." Loki advised the Avengers as Thor bellowed again, then followed after his raging brother.

"...That is some family drama right there." Tony said once Loki was out of the room, standing up to survey the damage to the meeting room. "J? Damage report." He circled around as he listened to Jarvis tell him what'd been damaged, hoping none of the foundation had been affected. It looked like it was mostly just on the surface, which was a relief. "I don't know about all of you, but I, for one, am actually glad that Loki's here to handle Thor. Never thought I'd say that."

Clint snorted, also going to take a look at the cracked windows. "Yeah, I don't want to be the one calming him down right now. I still don't trust him, but if what he said was true. Well, the Big Guy must've given him his own recalibration." He said, turning back to face the others with a rap to his head, indicating how he'd been broken free of the mind control. Loki's had been knocked out of him by the Hulk.

--

Loki appeared near Thor out of a small burst of green. "You're not going after him." It was obvious whom he was talking about. "I'm serious about it this time, Thor. He's one you cannot win against." Thanos was far more powerful than any adversary they'd ever faced in the past. If Loki never had to see him again, it'd be too soon.
