Ike sits on his bed, " so did you need something or were you just curious?" he notices the scarf, frowning, " what's with the scarf?"

Link blinks and blushes, "i uh. Was just gonna go on a perimeter walk around the castle. I... the scarf... uh...."
Link cant handle lying to ike, especially if sothe may end up just telling him anyway, "chris.... didnt take too kindly that he was kicked out so he attacked me. The scarf is to just hide the bruising..."

Ike blinks, then his face goes dark, " ...what?" he growls, " where's the slimy little punk, i swear i'll feed him his own testicles."

Link hesitantly removes the scarf, "Sothe got him before anything worse happened. He's in a cell. I'm... okay. It's fine."

Ike shakes his head, " remind me to pay him a visit... i'll have to commend Sothe for that, he's a decent guy but it's kind of debatable sometimes if he'd bother to get involved in something like that. If i can encourage that sort of thing it would prove helpful in the future im sure. or perhaps he'd intentionally refuse just to piss me off. hard to know with him sometimes."

Link looks down as he fiddles with the scarf, "He's nice.... he even stayed with me until I wasn't in shock. All of you have been... incredibly kind to me... It's nice."

Ike smiles, " good, im glad to hear it." he chuckles, " it's called teamwork. you're part of our team for as long as we're here, you look out for the team because we're strongest together."

Link nods and begins wrapping the scarf back around his neck. He looks back at Ike and smiles, "I'll uh, I'm sure you got stuff to do so im gonna go do my walking thing now." He turns to leave.

Ike shrugs, " not particularly. if you'd like i could join you on your walk." he gets up off the bed, stretching.

Link blinks and frowns, "are you sure? It will be dusk soon."

Ike chuckles, " what, you think i can;t stay up a little bit beyond my bedtime? i assure you im still spry enough to keep up."

Link smiles, "alright. I'm more than happy to have you join me."

Ike chuckles and heads out of the room, " well, lead the way then. off to defend the kingdom from evil squirrels, or whatever."

"More like keese. But those are the worst of it if you stay within the walls. I tend to just watch the field to make sure the bokoblins dont group up too much." Link starts walking down the hall

Ike blinks, " i have no clue what you're talking about, but okay." he follows, looking at all the decorations as they go.
