Ike sighs, " that's a point...though whether she'll be truthful is up in the air. it's possible helping Link won;t make it go the way she wants, so she'll make things worse."

Twilight looks a bit peeved, "damn witch. Dont know which one is worse,  the quote unquote good one that will lie,  cheat, and back stab just to follow the damn goddesses or the evil one who will just do whatever the hell she wants. "

Ike sighs, " agreed...in the meantime, shall we spar?" he grins and pats his sword.

Twilight blinks and nods before starting out his sword, getting into a stance

Ike takes a few steadying breaths before locking his eyes onto twilight, focused on the fight. He lifts the handle of the blade but keeps the tip angled towards the ground, waiting a few moments before lunging forward.

twilights eyes narrow and he shifts to the side to strike ike's side

Ike tucks forward into a roll and swipes at Twilights legs when he gets his feet back under him.

Twilight does a front flip to avoid the sword swipe,  getting some distance from ike so that he can watch him carefully

Ike stands up and grins, sword held loosely at his side as he starts circling around, eyes never leaving Twilight.

Twilight stretches his shoulders and takes a deep breath before he charges at Ike

Ike quickly rolls around him when he gets close and strikes at his back.

Twilight quickly tucks and rolls to get away from ike, turning to face him with a glare on his face, "Well you've become a bit faster."

Ike chuckles softly, " i've had a good teacher. i haven't been pushed like this in a long time, i'd let myself get out of shape. even if im not as strong or fast or have the endurance i had before, i'd say with the addition of these moves you've taught me that im still about equal to my glory days."

Twilight blinks, caught off guard by the compliment, "uh well in the end it helps the kid so its only natural that id teach you some techniques."

Ike nods, " agreed. doesn't mean i can't appreciate it and recognize talent however. i wouldn't want to face you seriously on the battlefield, especially if i didn't already know your style of fighting. if i'd never fought you before, even knowing these techniques, im fairly certain you'd easily hand me my ass on a platter."
