Ike nods and chuckles, " we've done some other fun stuff, though not as laid back as that. also, never doing that again, not on your life." he tears a chunk of meat off a skewer, chewing it contentedly.

Link snorts,  "oh come on,  you didnt die!  You did really good for your first time. Hell even ive fallen my first few times. "

Ike looks at him like he's insane, " yes, i do my best to not die in general. which means not doing things that might get me killed that are not needed."

Link chuckles as he eats some more,  "i always keep a fairy on me, you'll be fine. "

Ike shakes his head, " no thank you. i've spent my whole life avoiding death, and that's not changing. part of me really isn't sure that really works anyway."

Link hums softly, "well hopefully i dont need to prove to you that it does work. I will say its already happened to me though."

Ike sighs, " fingers crossed. anyway, back to business." he pours himself another shot and slams it back before picking up a bowl and munching the contents.

Link watches ike drink and hesitantly grabs some more snacks to munch on

By now the several shots have brought a rosey glow to Ike's cheeks and he looks considerably more relaxed, " there's the stuff...hand me some of those...little roll things with the stuffing."

Link chuckles and hands ike the requested food items. He couldnt help but marvel at the man, finding himself more at lost with how incredibly attractive he found the mercenary. He quietly admitted to himself that in this moment he wouldnt mind it if Ike became intoxicated enough to try kissing link, if only for a little while. But no, that wouldnt be right. Ike would feel horrible if he were to remember, and it would make the battle weird tomorrow.
Link decided that if ike were to pass out before link fell asleep then he would sneak back to the bar to relieve the sudden itch he could feel under his skin.

Ike downs a few and sips at his drink, no longer downing alcohol to get himself intoxicated as fast as possible. he was buzzed and feeling good, but he knew he shouldn;t go any further than that lest it effect him tomorrow. He steadily works through his tray of snacks and tasty treats, starting to softly sing a bawdy bar song to himself.

Link's eyes widen briefly when he hears Ike start to sing, his cheeks turning a slight red as he blushes, the hair on his arms standing up on end as he gets goosebumps. He quickly looks away and nervously chuckles, "Oh gosh. You're a great swordsman, incredibly good looking, and you can sing. Honestly I'd be shocked to find out you weren't good at something."

Ike snorts and belches, " im not a good singer, and now i feel silly. those songs just aren't the same like this, it's supposed to be something the whole crew bellows out as we get pissing drunk."

Link chuckles, "still better than what i can do." He glances at the shots of alcohol but looks away and quickly takes some more food.

Ike shrugs, " eh when you get in a crowd of men hollering some shandy it doesn;t really matter what you sound like. it's just fun and camaraderie. hell if you manage to stay standing you're doing well with how much drinking is involved normally." he snorts in amusement, swirling his glass idly.
