Link looks at Tergo and gives a small nod before heading out of town.

Ike follows after, sighing but staying quiet as they walk.

As they get further from the castle and more in to the country side Link begins to relax, idly kicking at rocks as the road becomes more of a dirt path.
He glances over at Ike and he frowns and begins rubbing his arm, "....I'm sorry...."

[Namari]

Ike looks over and sighs, " don;t be. i just hope that eventually you trust us enough to talk to me, or Soren, or even Sothe. If you had, i could have had Soren mix something up for you. I know i've taken dreamless sleep draughts more than once after hard battles."

[MissyLooni]

Link looks down, his blush spreading to the tips of his ears, "I... didn't know you guys had something that would allow a dreamless sleep... I thought... if I told anyone more of my problems I'd just sound like I was... being a burden..."

[Namari]

Ike looks over and smiles, " well, that's kind of what being a team is about. letting your comrades help ease the burdens. I mean, i can;t guarantee it'll work, your body is different than ours, but it's worth a try right? seriously, my door is always open, i want you to be comfortable coming to me with any worries or problems you have."

"okay... I... I'll try." Link looks at Ike and smiles, "But no seriously, if I get annoying then you can tell me to shut up. "

Ike rolls his eyes, " You're joking right? you do realize i deal with Sothe on a daily basis correct?"

[MissyLooni]

"Whats wrong with Sothe? He doesn't seem annoying to me."

[Namari]

Ike shakes his head, " yeah well you've only known him a few days. He's toned down his sticky fingers habit a bit, but it was rather annoying to having everything including my sword and my socks going missing and to find them in his room. Not to mention since he had a tough time getting food as a kid, he used to have a bad food hoarding habit. when you're sleeping in communal tents and there's week old food stinking up the whole thing, everyone kinda wanted to smack him."

Link chuckles, "Yeah thats understandable." After a while they come to a humble farm house and link smiles fondly, "Welcome home...."

An older woman steps outside and smiles, "Well now when did you get a day off?"

Link's smile grows wider and he quickly runs up to the lady and hugs her, "May! I missed you!"

May hugs him back and sighs, "Missed you too hun. Who's your handsome friend?"

Link blinks and pulls out of the hug and looks over at Ike, "Thats Ike.  He's... my friend. Tergo said I could use the old circle out back to teach ike the back slice."

May smiles, "Ah. Like the old days huh? Alright, let me say hello to your new friend." She walks over to Ike and smiles, "Hello Ike. I'm May. Tergo is my husband."

Ike stays back while Link greets an older woman, " Nice to meet you ma'am" he holds out a hand to shake hers, " Ah, boar meat man." he chuckles, " he's a lucky man it seems, and a good guy from what i've seen."

May takes Ike's hand, giving it a strong shake, "He is indeed lucky. And so are you. The back slice is a special move that had been passed down by the legendary heroes. not that my husband could ever pass for one. However, six generations ago a man in the family personally knew the hero of twilight. They got in to a stupid argument, made a bet, and the hero lost. So as per the bet that they made the hero had to show him a special technique."

Link blinks and looks at May, "How come you guys never told me?"

"We... didn't want to have to explain what alcohol was to you when you were 12."

Ike laughs softly, " well, lucky for me it happened then. Im no hero either, but i am a good swordsman. admittedly if i can;t learn it it'd hurt my pride just a little." he shakes his head.

May laughs and shakes her head, "If MY husband could not only learn it but also TEACH it I have no doubts that you'll get it quickly. Of course it is the easiest move out of the seven."
