Link doesn't move, obvious that he doesn't plan on going to bed, "kay. goodnight~!"

Ike crosses his arms, " you did your perimeter check, shouldn't you get to bed as well? you'll have to be well rested to teach me that move." he grins.

Link turns a little pale and he sighs, "fine...." he stands up straight and starts walking

[Namari]

Ike blinks in confusion and follows, heading to his own room once they get to their wing of the castle, " alright, have a good sleep." he waits outside his room to make sure Link at least goes to his room.

Link unlocks his door and hesitantly opens it, "yeah... sure. You too." He goes inside and closes his door, the sound of the door locking shortly after

 Ike heads into his room and shuts his door, stripping down and going to bed.

Tergo reaches his stall an hour before the market opens with his mule and cart full of whole smoked pigs that he has yet to slice up for the day. He gets behind his stand and freezes when he sees Link sitting on the ground, back against the stand, "Well, morning there kiddo. Just wake up?"

Link shakes his head and sniffles.

"...is it the nightmares again" Tergo begins pulling a stool out that he keeps at the stand.

Link nods and wipes his eyes.

The bigger man sighs and walks over to Link, "Alright, c'mon kiddo. Off the ground."

Link takes Tergo's hand when it's offered to him and stands up, immediately being pulled into a giant bear hug.

"Breaks my heart to see you like this Link. You know im still keeping my promise. Doesn't matter that you're not living with us anymore, I'll still keep him away from you. You know that right?"

Link nods and sniffles again.

Tergo sighs and pulls back from the hug. He grabs the stool and sets it next to link before grabbing a thick towel and folding it over a few times and plopping it down on the table, "Alright. Usual routine then?"

Another nod from Link, "i'm sorry..." He mutters softly as he sits down on the stool.

Tergo chuckles, "None needed kiddo. Just get a couple of hours. At least with you snoozing you'll attract girls over here and they will actually buy my skewers. You know how hard it is to sell to these girls? Not easy."

Link chuckles softly and rests his head on the towel, giving one final yawn before passing out.

Tergo shakes his head and begins prepping his stand.

Ike gets up in the morning refreshed, he gets breakfast and wanders around looking for Link, eager to get started. When he doesn't find the blonde he frowns, deciding to go to the skewer guy as Link had mentioned he'd been the original teacher. He makes his way to the market and the stall, raising an eyebrow when he sees Link crashed, " well, didn;t expect to find both of the guys i was looking for. Is he okay? does he do this often?" he buys a skewer, munching it.

Tergo frowns and rubs Links back a little, "Not often. Only when his nightmares get really bad. It used to be worse when he was younger but now its just every so often. It's easier for him to sleep when he is close to someone he trusts."

Ike frowns, " nightmares huh... no wonder he was stalling on sleeping. if he'd said something instead of just bullshitting me maybe i could have had Soren mix something up for him. oh well. So you're close to him huh? if you don't mind my asking, what's your relationship?" he leans against a tree, girls squealing at seeing not just Link but a second, exotic looking hot guy and flocking to the stand.

"Not blood related but my wife and I have been taking care of him since we found him when he was twelve."

[Namari]

Ike raises an eyebrow, " okay, you're gonna have to elaborate on that. also, Link was going to teach me a sword move, backslice i think he called it? he said you taught him to begin with. if there's any way i can convince you to teach me as well i'd appreciate it. obviously not right now, i can tell you're busy." he chuckles, " but if Link can;t then yeah, i'd be glad to help you work to earn the training."

"Oh no worries, Link will show ya if thats what he said. He'll probably wake up in the next hour or so." Tergo quickly sells a bunch of skewers to a bunch of people before looking back at Ike, "And to be honest his childhood wasn't great. Not gonna lie he didn't tell me until he turned 16 last year and I have no idea if he would want me to explain... but the long story short, he ran away from home, we took him in, and if I ever find out where his father is I will have some exotic meat skewers to sell."

Ike nods, " fair enough." he blinks, " i'll have to ask him later... i know i haven;t been here long but i had thought he'd started to trust me. he talks to me after all." he blinks and wrinkles his nose, " i think i'll have to pass on that day. not sure if our races are close enough to be considered cannibalism but lets not find out."

Tergo chuckles, "Why dont you take a few skewers and enjoy some of the market today? I'll get Link up and get him ready."
