Link feels exhaustion hit him suddenly and his eyelids droop, 'the endura carrots must have suddenly wore off...' he yawns and goes over to where they keep vegetables and starts looking through them.

Ike looks over to see Link yawn, " guess that little nap wasn;t enough to keep you going after that training session huh? Think you could sleep with me on watch? Tergo said the nightmares stay away if someone you trust is nearby."

Links eyes widen and he quickly looks at ike. The kitchen area is dead with them being the only two people so link clears his throat and rubs the back of his neck, "he told you that? Jeez. Thanks but- but I'll be fine. I'm sure you have important stuff to do. If i can find an endura carrot that should be enough. Endura carrots give a high stamina boost when consumed."

Ike gives him a deadpan, " yes he said that. and those... carrot things are no replacement for sleep. im sure i can read a book or something while you get some rest, i should take a break after that workout this morning, and there's still so much to learn about this world."

Link sighs softly and nods, "okay... if you're sure..."

Ike smiles, " alright, well lets swing by the library and grab a few books, then your room? im betting you'd be most comfortable in your own bed."

Link nods and starts heading to the library.

Soren is still there, two giant, neat stacked piles of books on either side of him

Ike sees the other and grins, " hey, just the man i needed. care to pick me out a pile of books that i can learn a few things from that won;t put me to sleep? i need to kill a couple hours while this one gets some sleep." he rubs Links hair.

Link makes an undignified squawk as he starts to lightly smack at ikes hand, grumbling loudly.

Soren blinks and raises an eyebrow before grabbing a thick book, "here. You want to make potions in our world? Learn about their plants."

Ike laughs softly before pulling his hand away. " oh yes, the potions. well i suppose that ought to at least be somewhat interesting. a rather daunting book though." he looks at the size of the tome, " ah well, no pain no gain i suppose. this will do, thank you." he heads out of the library and towards Links room.

Link follows ike, fixing his hair and grumbling more, although not actually angry.

Ike glances back, still grinning, " awww, somebody is cranky and needs his nappy." he snickers and tries the door to Links room, blinking when it's locked. " ah, well you first then i guess." he steps aside.

Link smirks when ike cant get in and goes over to his door and uses his key to unlock it before opening the door. He peaks inside briefly before going in. He quickly goes over to his windows and checks to make sure they are still locked before going over to his bed and looking underneath it to make sure nothing is there.

Ike plops into a chair and opens the book, starting at the beginning.

Once ike is in link quickly goes back over to his door and closes it, locking it, and then testing the door knob to ensure it is locked. Link sighs and sets the key on his dresser. He goes over to his large bed and sits down on the edge, his fingers tapping on his knees for a moment before he begins to remove the gear that he keeps on his back, including his sword
